What if zero summing ISN'T failure of CHIM? What if the true way to reach the Amaranth is to realize you are a figment of the Godhead's imagination, and thus you ARE the Godhead. What if they vanish from the multiverse because they slightly wake up and begin to lucid dream?
Or rather, to zero sum is to wake up and start a new kalpa, and the reason they don't exist in the new kalpa is because they woke up in the last one and are now dreaming the dream. So the Amaranth would actually be what we think of as failing CHIM, when in actuality, CHIM is the failed state.
@@JBRewind This actually makes a lot of sense with my own theory on the Amaranth. Basically, I posit that the Godhead is actually the Player. I don't mean the PC, I mean, the person, who gives into this fantasy realm, to engender life, movement, and substance! The game and it's world are nothing until we WITNESS and facilitate it's happenings. It's kind of like the idea that "text is just nonsensical ink until it has a mind to interpret it". With this idea, just popping out of existence like the Dwemer and their Enternal "NOPE!" means that your 4th Wall is Broken, Sithis and Padome win, and you have to "REALIZE THAT YOU'RE PLAYING A GAME", or were dreaming. So, to become a future Amaranth, requires one to awaken from their dorito nacho and 7up slumber, and to either RENTER "Wonderland"/slumberland, or to WRITE YOUR OWN STORY!(birthing a new cosmos using TES as inspiration, 🤩😍😎)

Ok, so I have a wild theory that the Amaranth is the Player. Basically, EVERYTHING is topsy-turvy, because THE PLAYER gives the world LIFE...by dreaming of TES(or by playing TES). Basically, you're Alice, and TES is Wonderland! In order for wonderland to even exist, Alice must first slumber to dream it up. Like, EVERYTHING is based off the fact that you PROJECT yourself into the game. Like Lorkhan giving his body to ferment mundus; THE PLAYER gives up their conscious focus upon their physical body to inhabit THE CHOSEN ONE (PC). This act gives mundus a "heart" upon which to beat and move time forward. ANU, is your desire to continue to play the game. To lose yourself entirely to the fantasy realm. PADOME, conversely is your desire to stop, and to forcefully eject yourself (4th Wall Style) from the game: ERGO - SITHIS! Sithis is PADOME's will made manifest, because "when you die in the game you die for real!" (jk) It just means your immersion is broken, and your suspension of disbelief is shattered. This is my theory for the "Truth" behind TES Amaranth. P.S. My theory for Star Wars is that the Force is the Hidden Antagonist, because The Force is a representative of the author's will; And now that Evil Entertainment Empire Disney owns Star Wars TM...the Star "Wars" will never end. Good and Evil will fight a neverending confrontation for our entertainment, and ultimately THE FORCE will back whichever side needs to win to continue the conflict, to further the story, to ENHANCE THE BRAND! Ergo, THE FORCE is the Ultimate Antagonist. Like an Entertainment Host that seeds arguments to raise ratings...THE FORCE will not let either the Jedi or the Sith die, 😈 🐁
The reason the current Kalpa was spared by Akatosh is because of Martin. When the Amulet of Kings was shattered Martin performed an instant "mantling" and became a new aspect of Akatosh, an imperial aspect if you will of Akatosh like Auriel is the elven aspect of Akatosh. He sacrificed his mortal life to save the world and wasn't about to let his sacrifice go to waste. He makes an unintended Dragonborn and hopes the Elder Scrolls were right (Alduin's Wall). Second, the current Kalpa boasts not one, not two, not three, but four (four!) mortals who have achieved apotheosis. You have Talos, Mannimarco, Martin and The Champion of Cyrodiil. Talos along with his two toadies mantled Lorkhan's dead aspect. Mannimarco made himself into a new "god" entirely (origin of Black Soul Gems and possibly the Soul Cairn and Ideal Masters?). Martin mantled Akatosh and became a new aspect of him. The Player performs a mantling ceremony and takes the first step to becoming a Daedra by creating his/her own staff of Sheogorath and dipping it into the Font of Madness.
If anyone ever played Mage The Ascension, its kinda easy to understand these concepts, as they drink from the same fountain which is, western and eastern religions. Buddhism specially where one can become a Bodhisattva and when the time comes you can choose to stay inside the cycle to help others to illuminate themselves ( maybe Vivec is the best example ) or to get out of the cycle and become one with the One Spirit, basically the concept of Samadhi or Satori or Nirvana, depending the "level" you are. About the different Kalpas, there's one simply answer: the Godhead sleeps and dreams, then one moment he has to wake up, the dream ends and he goes with his life wherever this may be; then he sleeps again and dream another Kalpa. Yokudans are not from another dreamer, but from a previous dream which they were able to persevere through "waking up", getting back when the dreamer dreamt again. Simple and elegant.
40:00 When you dream remembering an older dream and revisit it but time only goes forward but dreaming it alters your memory of the older version of the dream place and aaaahhh Then you can dream and go 'ah i am revisiting a dream place' wake up and go 'That was new, what the hell, I've never had that dream before'
Isn't Sithis technically the father of Lorkhan (Shor)? Lorkhan being a sub-gradient creation and reflection of Sithis, I figured that "Shor Father of Shor" was Sithis.
I think that's a reasonable assertion. Or at least that the Elder Scrolls do not constrain their predictions to the current Kalpa. They're kinda buggy, those scrolls. Gotta wait for the community patches.
I'm just wondering how you guys would fit the Elder Scrolls into the kalpic cycle. Do they get wiped clean every time a kalpa ends? Because it seems to me that the Scrolls seem to mirror the Aedra in that they start out infinite (having all possible outcomes) and become more finite over time (as actual outcomes are recorded). I suppose it would have something to do with Dagon and who he was before, and unfortunately I'm not that well versed on that subject.
No,it was stated that the elders scrolls are figments of creation that not even the gods tamper with, this would suggest that elder scrolls and Magnus have nothing to do with each other.
Sam Iezzi No because the Godhead doesn’t exist, most of the lore regarding it comes OOG text and is mentioned briefly in the 36 Lessons by Vivec, one of the biggest liars in the history of liars.
Elder scrolls the only game that requires a masters degree to understand. If vivec obtained chim why did he need to still absorb power from the heart of lorkhan.
Ze absorbed power from the heart of Lorkhan first -- ze basically used its power to rewrite hir past into the kind of person that *could* CHIM. It wasn't something that ze could do on hir own.
Wait. How can we really know the elder scrolls are only predictions that come true if someone shows up and makes them happen? What does that even mean? Nothing happens unless someone shows up and makes it happen in the context we are talking about with or without an elder scroll
What if the Last Dragonborne is the beginning of a CODA. his existence isnt natural as the kalpa should have ended with Alduin. Akatosh basically said screw it, threw in Dovahkiin and changed yhe ending if the story.

could the elder scrolls prophecies be memories from previous kalpic cycles?
and if an amaranth is created does the kalpic cycle stop? or does it keep going? could there be amaranthception?
