Lol the way you described the Hermes flip flops reminds me of the sounds any shoes make on marble floors after walking in rain. I find it funny when I hear the sounds but personally I'm so embarrassed when that happens with my shoes
As usual , love frugal Jennifer’s advices 🙏😜 Agree about belts, even Chanel ones cc, which always wearable, as I changed my style, this year, I sold all my belts, but vintage ones. Costume jewelry same, had a lot from Chanel, still keeping a few from Karl time chokers, but earrings nope all gone. Now I did bought some from Old Celine statement ones, but they are timeless and edgy, no logos, and they definitely made better than Chanel ones🤔 I also looking to get some interesting earrings, now new brands create, the ones that you can stalk , change, etc…, it’s gold plated, but not as expensive, in medium range… when it comes to precious ones, I want quality and more dainty timeless ones, that goes with everything. Shoes I have big feet true 42, so I don’t have choice if I find it fit well I buy. Now flip flop style, I would not pay much, I was lucky I found on preloved sites new from the row, very good price. Skincare. I do love some Biologique Recherche and Valmont. Now I use actives , so skincare, for me is needed to give glow, and most important save from irritation/ nourish. I don’t believe that skincare erase wrinkles, or gives major lift 😳 lol but to. even out , calm, and get glow, yes some products can provide more than others. Right now I am obsessed with BR creme biofixine and Valmont oxygen line régénéra 2. I don’t use every night, but when I use, I wakeup with plumed and glowing skin. I don’t buy mainstream skincare, the ones, that have makeup lines as primary business, but I do love from Chanel one product, it’s from Sublimage extract . They used to have one, that’s the one I still had. Now they split in daytime and night time, so I am not sure, but thinking of trying. It’s like dry oil. It’s not greasy, and it makes skin so supple . And yes it’s crazy expensive, but all you need is a drop. Now Valmont bee line oil as expensive, but I had sample, and nope It’s greasy and I would not buy… So what works, that’s what it’s worth to invest, but chasing miracle creams to age me 20 years backwards, I don’t believe 😳🤪😂🤣 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I bought my Bottega Andiamo Fondant for 3700 Euros in the Bottega store in Italy. I saved a ton shopping there it almost paid for my trip. Big purchases that aren’t LE I try to make in country of origin because you can save a lot from taxes & markup.
You’re so entertaining to watch lol. The velvet flip flop maybe is made for people like me who have hyperhidrosis. I can’t wear regular pumps, heels, flip flops because my condition makes me feet sweat and it’s impossible. 😢 I wish they had more fabric bottom shoes so I can enjoy them as well. Loved this video. Thank you ❤
Hi Jennifer! Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Having made several of the mistakes you are warning against, I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. The last time I visited Paris, I was looking for a handbag with very specific functional features. I visited the Chanel, Gucci, Hermes, Givenchy, Dior (etc.) boutiques. I was not able to find a bag to my liking among them (even the Birkin did not meet my criteria). On the last day of my Paris visit, I was walking along the Champs Élysées, and I went into a Lancel boutique - “just in case” I thought. Lancel is one of the oldest and most established French brands of leather bags, scarves, luggage, belts, and other leather goods such as wallets. That’s where I found an all-leather handbag that met all my criteria - shape, handle, strap, pockets, metal feet, type of leather, colour, etc. The price was similar to that of a Prada or Fendi bag. I have bags by Givenchy, Gucci, LV, Chanel, Hermes, Prada, Choo, Fendi, Burberry, Coach (etc.) and my Lancel carryall is the one I use most (5 years and no visible wear and tear inside or out). Thanks again for the sound advice and have a great day.
I bought Longchamp belts for years, and 20 years later still wear them. They are extremely well made and classic. I sold a few recently at a consignment store and they sold before they even hit the floor. If you love the Bottega Andiamo, but don't want to spend for new, look for a (discontinued) Bottega Garda bag...virtually the same bag. I picked one up a couple years ago when micro bags were big for $900, and it gets the most compliments of any of my bags.
I love my flat sandals (and likely Hermes dupes) from Sam Edelman. I’ve had them for many years and they are so comfortable and look great (and don’t make noise when I walk somehow). I never heard of the Hermes sandals until years after I had mine, but they sure seem like dupes. I just couldn’t spend that much on shoes, bc no matter what I will wear them down.
One reason creams and cosmetics are appealing is a bit of luxury you can finish up naturally. I don't really wamt more designer stuff that requires care and a plan to dispose of it. But creams/cosmetics are adding more and more chemicals in their ingredient list, thatnI womder how good for you it is. Does dimethicone need to be in everything?? Do cosmetics need more and more actives? So I buy oils, not because oils are better but no actives. La Mer is another choice for fairly low ingredient deck.If money is an issue for me, Yves Rocher is a good choice for Chanel, their fields of flowers are right next to each other.
Would love to see a video on what you think is worth the price - esp. skincare.

I have to share with you - I’m vacationing in Palm Beach for Christmas and Gucci belts are everywhere.
What a pleasure to have another review from the best . Thanks 😢

Someone who shares my opinion on logo belts and luxury flip flops!😂
I’m with your on the flip flops! I was tempted by The Row ones but it’s insanity to pay a fortune for these types of shoes.
Great conversation and topic. ❤

regardless of the price, if it’s not being used then it’s expensive.
I’ve opted for a Nili Lotan belt - no logo.
I’m not the only one who thinks how tacky Gucci belt looks!! 🙏🏼

Please do not buy Chanel fashion jewellery; those half pearls are just glued in and they fall out.
