      I love the fact tekno put 110% into there products 🙌 and they are always so helpful and down to earth. Tekno is a company I have great respect for 👍

      The RCNetwork I love the bearing supported sway bars. That’s how you know Tekno is really pushing the envelope on durability and longevity and efficiency with this 2.0 buggy. I’ve got the eb48.4 but I’m not ready to upgrade yet but when I do this would be my choice of kit

    Looking forward to the run video. You should interview other vendors in person or via web cam once in a while. It’s nice to hear some of the background stories regarding design and implementation for new vehicles.

      Looking forward to running it as well! I agree on the interview - most companies don't want to go on the record, so to speak. Tekno is a different company though

    raced this buggy for the first time at Hot Rod Hobbies Raceway.... with stock setup , the buggy drives itself... almost won the A main (finished 2nd) with just 2 battery packs of practice. awesome buggy.

    This video series pushed me into the eb48 2.0. Great detail and over view for the new 2.0. I love my eb48.4 but I’m looking forward to adding this to my garage. Thanks man!

    Nice build Rich, I'm waiting on the ET48 2.0 announcement and I'm preordering. Wish I could afford two new builds, but my RC8B3.1E is holding strong. 😁👍

    I got my NB48 2.0 right when it came out and I could not drive my EB48.4 because of all of the differences between the cars but now that I have one (EB48 2.0) i'm excited to see how it does.

    Interesting car, just built the serpent srx8e. The stark opposite weight wise, srx8e is 200+ gr. Heavier. Shame noone carries tekno around here. Thanks for sharing.

    I have that reciever in my limitless build. Use their telemetry recievers in all my other builds. Nice servo by the way. I been using the savox sv-1270-tg servos in my 1:8 builds with good outcome.

    Beautiful buggy!! One thing if I may mention. Battery terminals from your ESC. Look up item (Yeah Racing part # WPT-0121) A guy at my local track had these on his buggy and I had to know more. Since then, I started using these and I've swapped over to these on my TLR 22 5.0 Elite, TLR 22T 4.0 and my B74 and soon to be my TLR 22X-4. No more pulling on wires or fighting to disconnect battery. And best of all, If you ever swap from 4mm or 5mm batteries, its a breeze to swap out the threaded pins. I must say, I love these battery connectors. Let me know what you think!

      Thanks for stopping by! Yes, I've seen those before - and the worst part of bullets are pulling them out of a battery. I also like the 4-5mm swap. Thanks for mentioning those, I may have to give them a go

      @@TheRCNetwork I always worried about ripping the cable from the bullet when trying to unplug from the battery. I can say, I fell in love with these Yeah Racing battery bullets. Give them a try. I guarentee you’ll start using them on every build after lol

    Just got my EB48 2.0 kit built. Now on to electronics install. Had a spare mamba monster x 8s esc and castle 1515 sensored was hoping to fit into it but no go so I had to just order the Tekin RX8 Gen 3 esc 1900kv motor combo for it.

      you're not going to be sorry with the Tekin set up. It's hands down better than the Castle

      @@TheRCNetwork idk man I've had castle's esc's for years with no issues whatsoever. Just picked up another xlx esc with sensored 2028 for my DBXLE 2.0 I do admit I've always wanted a buggy with a Tekin setup.

      @@TheRCNetwork what about ripple current with the rx8. Should I get a cappack. 1 good thing about castle is I dont need all those telemetry sensors for my 7pxr radio. It's nice to see how much ripple current your pulling rite on the screen.

      I never made it to a proper 1/8t scale outdoor venue to film it.......I did run it at OCRC before they closed. It's a two edged sword running it there. I'll post the running video and people will gripe that I didn't goto a proper 1/8th scale outdoor (which is 2 hours+ from my house)

    Nice build rich I just purchased mine yesterday I'm trying to decide between the hw xr8 sct pro and the hw xr8 sct plus the pro is cheaper but looks like it does everything the plus does I see its only 140 amp and up to 4s so my question is will it work fine with the 1900 kv 4268 motor on 4s in this buggy or do I need the xr8 plus ?thanks for your help you told me to get the xr8 pro for the sct410.3 and it is awesome its on sale right now too but will it work ok for the buggy and if you don't mind can you explain what would be the difference between the two thanks rich I'm a newby I appreciate your advice👍

    did you have any issue getting the Protek 170 installed on the car. Seen some posts saying some work is required due to the wire. Please explain.

      Yes, I had to slightly relieve the two posts on the far side of the servo mount...nothing that would make it weaker, just enough to let the rubber grommet breath a bit

      already have one! Plus this has 17mm hexes, which is a big downfall for U4RC

      Yep, it's a larger ESC, but fits well in the wider chassis

      The Associated is a distant loser to the Tekno, IMO. There's such better E Buggies over the Associated - TLR, XRay, HB, Mugen. I'm still in love with my Tekno though...it's the best IMO

    Looks great!!! Why didnt u do hobbywing like everyone else? Everyone uses hw around me for offroad or oval racing. I dont get it. Seems like tekin would he a better choice

      I really like the Tekin stuff for 1/8th scale - the RX8 is second to none, and much smaller than the XR8 Plus.

      @@TheRCNetwork yeah the xr8 is a big boy lol. There are some fast guys at my track with that xr8. we run hw esc and team power products motors in oklahoma. 90 percent of the people at my local tracks run that combo

    Question, I used the proteck servo as you used. It is a tight fit with wire has a little boot. How did you get that in there, what did you do with the boot?

      I notched the servo mount slightly to relieve the boot on the servo. It doesn't appear to have weakened the mount at all

    How does the 2.0 compare to the rc8 b3.2e.

      I'm a huge fan of the 2.0 - I'd even place the 48.4 above the 3.2e....but I like the way the Tekno drives more than anything. The 3.2 is a great buggy, much more stable. The 3.2 feels like a Toyota Camry where the 2.0 feels like a Porsche 911

      I actually haven't made a video yet on it.....unfortunately, Covid hit and it hasn't been too easy to hit an 1/8th scale track

    Do you think there will be a mt410 2.0?

      I kind of doubt it. Tekno is a race company, and they put their time and effort into that. Even the ET48 and SCT410 get's updated last in most cases. Maybe once the ET48 gets the 2.0 upgrade we might see it, as it will be a matter of selecting the right parts to make the MT410 2.0

      Wheels are still available at RawSpeed's website, tires are discontinued....likely replaced by the Radar

    That battery shows to be discontinued online and it's fairly new I believe. Any idea what the deal is?

      Yeah, they do still have them at the Chico store - but they're being updated, like I mentioned for 2020. They do have the new 1S and 2S in Low IR versions.

    Can you give a way a one of your nicely built RC cars please and if like an associate it with a battery doesn’t have to come with remotes I got the remote covered but I was just checking if if there’s a car you don’t use that’s an eighth scale that has a battery tires good it’s a good car and If you have one you can give it to me just send a message and just say if we can because since it’s a Giveaway to me and if you do have one I don’t care if it’s a Louisiana care of technology care if it’s anything just want to be nice 1/8 scale just send a message back that the member with a nice body with tires with a battery and just send a message back bye
