The difficulty you were experiencing is why I use scissors to open packs that don't pop open or have a notch for tearing, really reduces the risk of bending or nicking the cards inside if the packaging is being stubborn.
I appreciate your honesty about this being a hobby and not hyping up big returns. Still interested because I really like F1.

As someone who collects various of sports trading cards to make money and is getting into F1, I would say you can get into the collecting F1 for the sole purpose of making money. It’s what I do lol. Now first things first, you have to be okay with losing money. It’s part of the game. But best way to make the most out of what you spend, is understand what your looking for and always avoid the cheapest products. Also look to find deals online where a box of chromes are being sold much cheaper than retail. Anyways it’s possible to make money solely, you just have to be smarter with your purchases.

Thanks for making this, as someone interested in getting back into collecting on some level. Honestly I think Topps has made a mockery of card collecting at this point with all these products and then the amount of versions of different cards. Even looking at getting some already graded Piastri rookies there is multiple versions of him let alone all the versions on those individual cards with a bunch of stupid names. Everything should be available in a base set like it once was, pretty much excludes a bit part of their audience as well which is kids and the experience you have as a kid, or cons them into buying stuff that is way out of their range.
