The issues Kirk is raising are the reason many Muslims were drawn to the Democratic side over the last 20 years. Back in 2016 I was a mutual follower on Twitter of a member of a group called Muslims for Trump. He was a great guy and was concerned about the direction the country was going. I'm a Muslim who grew up in Christian neighborhood in Arab country. We never had any issue or conflict what so ever. We celebrated Muslim holidays with our Christian neighbors, and they celebrated theirs with us. The issues Kirk is raising are the reason many Muslims were drawn to the Democratic side over the last 20 years. We were kind of forced between a rock and a hard place: face suspicion and discrimination amongst conservative Christians who share similar social views or risk compromising your views but be welcomed by more liberal groups. Yes! I watched a local Detroit news program from around the time of the school board upheaval before the midterms. (The Muslim father leading the protest urging the Muslim community to stop voting democrat) It had people from opposing sides of an issue. The person on the opposing side to what the parents were doing was a Muslim. Back in 2016 I was a mutual follower on Twitter of a member of a group called Muslims for Trump. He was a great guy and was concerned about the direction the country was going. We kept in touch, but then sadly he was treated so badly by the liberal Muslims in the community that he literally had to go underground with the group because he was being shunned by people for his voting choice and was receiving abuse for it.
Fast forward to 2023. I do not know what has happened to my Muslim friend, but I hope he is back with like-minded Muslims. I was so happy to hear of Muslims in Dearborn and California meeting with Christians about the horrific subject of mutilating sexual reassignment surgeries and transgender hormone therapy and the fact minors are having the surgeries and puberty blockers and opposite sex hormone treatment. Also, both religions are against the sex education taught to even young children. Muslims and Christians need to work together against the evil Radical Democrat policies with no place in reality.

I also don't want your to get it wrong, we do believe in the punishment for the act of penetration between two adult males but that's also have a lot of criteria in order for it apply...I encourage you to research about the Islamic teaching when it comes to this type of behavior and punishment from credible sources not main stream media....
