For anyone looking at this. Immediately go to Santacruz syndicate brake bleed tips and learn a gravity bleed. Super Simple and effective. No messing about with syringes and tubes.
Finally a video with clearly outlined steps, that doesn't make hydraulic brake bleeding seem like some cross between engineering for spacecraft and surgery. Thanks!
Thank you for the info about the free stroke and the reach knop! Most other tutorials forgot about that, but i remembered that there must be sth.... And you showed it, you're the man!! Thank you again and have some good rides 🤘
Very simple and well done cant wait for my Saints to arrive it Will be a huge differance from Two Piston XT to 4 Piston Saints which seems to be the most powerful Shimano Brakes
Hello Benjamin, this depends on the type of shifter you have! I have a I-SPEC B shifter and i do not require anything additional, but maybe you would need this one: www.bike-components.de/de/Shimano/Schrauben-mit-Mutter-fuer-SL-M670-M780-M820-M980-I-Spec-B-p39567/?o=100001-universal-universal#module-product-detail-reviews
Overall you can definitely do it Martina, nothing change BUT: you have to be very careful with mineral oil, if it's going to the pads or discs then you have problems 🥲
I hope you will like the new video setup 😁, happy maintenance!

Word up! Marshy knows best. Also tap the caliper, hose and lever when the reservoir is in to get more air out😊

You will be fully satisfied, i can tell you 😉
Very good instructions, thanks a lot. Just bled mine, rear feels great, but the front seems to require one more bleed.
Thanks 🤜🏻, yes sometimes can happen and you have to redo the steps, maybe you missed something
Concise, well illustrated, cheers.
Thanks Pandu! 💯👊🏻
A very cool and helpful video Oreste, good job. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. Have fun on the bike and ride on
Thanks a lot Christoph🤝🏻😎

Thanks a lot! Very helpful to help bleed my new brakes
You are welcome Guspam, thanks for watching man 👌🏻

Helpful, thanks
you are welcome! 👊
When you screw the cup for the first time, if you leave the plunger with a bit of oil, it traps the air out
Good advice, thanks! 🙏
Did you screw the free stroke screw all the way back in when finished ??
Yes almost, as it was before
I tried this method with my saints and they still feel spongey, should I be pushing the fluid up and down a few times to get all the air out?
Yes, this method should be bulletproof 🤜🏻
My fluid is leaking out of the bleed port and not going into the tube
Maybe you opened too much the port?
what happens if you bleed with the brake pads in?
Overall you can definitely do it Martina, nothing change BUT: you have to be very careful with mineral oil, if it's going to the pads or discs then you have problems 🥲
sei passato dai CODE ai SAINT👏🏻?
