Ugh! I love companies like this that make things SO easy to understand and comprehend for us DIY guys. You’ve just earned yourself a new customer, I’ll be purchasing this kit VERY soon! Thank you!
Thank you and we are happy to hear that! If there is anything we can ever do to help please reach out :)
I have to say your installation video is superb
Very clear easy to follow good job!
Great video and love the way you slowly explain everything.
Awesome tutorial, especially the follow up video for switch installation! It was a breeze. Only thing that was skipped in the video was installing the washers on the bolt before adding to the light bar. Super easy install for a first timer
Great to hear, Tag us in some photos on social media!
Thank You for the educational and entertaining instruction video. It will definitely help with the install of this LED light bar modification. Keep up the good videos. Have A Good Weekend! 🛻🚚🚛
Watching this 20 minutes video probably saved me an hour of trying to figure it out.
Glad it helped you out!
AWESOME VIDEO. THANKS FOR SHARING
I already order mines... am so happy
Very well explain thank you
This video absolutely helped. Though had to get creative with the wiring. Installed the switch in the middle under the HVAC controls, and the wire harness barely reached. Ended up cutting the connector off and spliced the two ends together, and an OEM switch at the end. But it all ended up working fine. Also, just a heads up to anyone with a manual... there is a little less open space under the hood to secure the relay, as the clutch fluid reservoir is there. Also fishing the wire through the firewall is A LITTLE more tricky, as the clutch pedal assembly is right where the wire comes through.
Glad we could help you out with this install!
Bought mine today. Hope to get it soon. 😊
Nice people to deal with, very easy to install with video
Thank you for the kind words!
After watching this video, I would consider buying your product as a thank you note to a job well done explaining all the details of installing the light bar. I've watched close to 10 videos showing how to install the light bar. Most of these videos would skip out things that the installers assume others would know. Sadly, some of us don't. We want to see the details so that we don't screw things up. As a result, a small suggestion to an otherwise perfect 10 video is that you should have finished the installation by completing the connection to the battery. Please note that things that seem mundane to you can be not so mundane to the newbies.
Thank you for the positive comment. We try to make things as simple and appealing to everyone. When we do another video we will take you comment into consideration!
I really need this exact model in amber light
you can buy amber lamin x film if you cant find this model in amber
Just installed my Auxbeam light bar with these mounts. Thanks for the instructions, very easy to follow. You weren't joking about tightening the bolts on the side of the light bar though, that is quite the awkward angle to get your wrist in there!
Did you put your wind reflectors back on or leave them off also?
@@michaelguzman1286 I left them off, you can't really fit them back in there with the bracket installed.
do you know of a way to modify the wind deflectors so it is possible to still use them after the light bar is installed? I live in Calif and I want all the air possible flowing towards the radiator in the summer.
Really on the fence between the combo or spot. I’m currently installing upgraded fog lights so I’m wondering I’m contemplating the spot light.
Is this install similar on the 2013 Tacoma?
What do u do with the relay? Just leave it there? Screw it down to something or what?
Really detailed video! Question, has anybody used silicon to seal the Cali light bar? If not, has anyone gotten moisture or water inside the light bar? Debating whether or not to seal the light before install. Thanks.
I haven't heard anyone using silicon to seal the bar.
Awesome video, does the light in that location restrict any airflow that can have an affect with any type of cooling?
Question,
I already got a cali raised ditch lights installed. Can i overlap the battery terminal of ditch lights and light bar? Is it not gonna blow any fuse or drain the battery?
That is the great thing about LED.... it takes 1:10 the power of the old stuff!
Does taking off the wind deflectors take off some mpg?
Can the wind deflectors be reinstalled after light bar installation, or do they interfere?
Yes, they can be trimmed and re installed.
Would have been nice to see the lights work with the headlights in the dark as well. Where do you install the relay bracket?
If you look at the engine bay it would be located on the drivers side(right) Here is a video to visualize where it is. ruclips.net/video/smD1jX9eJpg/видео.html
What is the downside (if any) of leaving the wind deflectors out versus putting them back in?
The downside is that the rack will be louder without the deflector than with the deflector.
it`s too bad the fuses don`t fit on the relay holder securely, had to zip tie mine on
How much DC current at 12V required to power the 32" and/or 42 LED bars?
Hey David,
Great question! The lights can run on 12-32v DC Power. Those bars draw roughly 15-20A.
Who’s LED bar is brighter ? Yours or the diode dynamics LED bar ? I only ask because I want a bar for my truck but cannot decide which is brighter and better thanks.
Each light is different so it depends on which one you are referring to. Check out the product descriptions when you are in each product!
i have the universal button switch and hooked the wires up as in the video but the red light on the switch is constantly on even when truck off. what can i do
Hello PC,

LEDs: 60
Lumens: 30,000
42" DUAL ROW 5D OPTIC OSRAM LED BAR

Watts: 400
LEDs: 80
Lumens: 40,000
Hope this helps, head over to our website and chat with us if you have any more inquiries, we would be happy to help.
Is it necessary to push that cooling system tubing back if you only have a single row light bar? That double row bar is much larger. Just trying to save time.
You would not need to push the cooling system tubing back in order to fit the dual row light bar.
Anyone know if this setup will work using Diode Dynamics's brackets? Id like to do this install & be able to the wind deflectors back in
The DD brackets do work & allows you to re-instal the wind deflectors.
Do the wind deflectors go back in or do you leave them out?
We leave them out. They can go back in but you have to trim them.
Did fit only with strait led bar (32inch) ? or (32inch) curve led bar will fit?
You can use a curved bar.
What size of Allen keys do I need for this mine didn't come with any
The Allen key needed is a 5/32 or 5mm. Let us know if you have any further questions.
For someone using an sPod to handle all accessories and switches, how would I wire this up using the supplied harness?
Feel free to reach out to our customer service team. They will be happy to assist you! info@caliraisedled.com
So the M6 is for mounting the light bar as are the split washers? This isn't mentioned in this video.
Yes, The M6 bolt, lock washer then fender washer are used when mounting the LED bar to the brackets.
Yeah I had to come here to see the order of the washers since the video missed it. Does the split washer lock against the other washer, then bracket then light bar? Or does the plain washer sit between bracket and light itself? Can't find a pdf or more info on the site showing an exploded view of the parts.
I've done everything exactly like this video/the directions say to and my light bar is still loose
I’m interested in this setup but I have a winch mounted in a slimline bumper. I’ll have to look and see if there is still room.
Unfortunately we cannot confirm that it will fit or not because all wenches and bumpers have different dimensions. If you happen to order it, Let us know if there is still room!
Did you find out if there was an issue doing this? Just got that same bumper and was going to do a smittybilt x20.
The video doesn’t clearly state what the M6 bolts, washers and split washers are for. I’m assuming those were the bolts you used to attach the bar to the bracket but what about the washers?
Starting at 10:09 is where the video explains the M6 bolt and washer going into the light bar. If you have any more questions feel free to shoot us an email! info@caliraisedled.com or call us (888)-385-5036.
I feel like if I order this kit I'm gonna need to order that Milwaukee Ratchet tool as well?!?!
FACT!
hey yall I installed a diode dynamics lightbar. I have flickering or vibration issues. I have rewired and ordered another lightbar. to see if it was the issue same thing. It only flickers when i’m off-roading or going over something bumpy does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?
Your best bet its to contact their customer service to see if they can help you with the wiring issues.
Noob question but how do you turn them on? Do they always run when your lights are on or what
The light bar is directly wired hooked up to a switch!
This will work with 2020 Tacoma, right?
It's a 2016-Current model, so yes!
does this kit come with switch and wire harness
We have options to include those and to not -- check out the product listing! caliraisedled.com/products/2016-2021-toyota-tacoma-32-lower-bumper-hidden-led-light-bar-kit
Just recently purchased. Brackets are completely different. Precision guess work I guess.
Hi there!! This is not good - please contact us with your order number and we will get you squared away!! info@caliraisedled.com
@@CaliRaisedLED I bought the low profile flush fit. Having trouble now getting the light bar to stay at the desired angle. Is it really just the one bolt on each side that holds it in place? Feel like im tightening too tight
@@Guywhoquestionsthings Yes, it is one bolt that will change the angle of the light bat. because the light bar is in a tight spot. You won't get too much e
looks like i will be having someone else do this install
DOES THE INSTALL WHISTLE at high speeds, 🤷
This install does not whistle at high speeds due to the design! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
I wanna see the results.
Night time, with it on and with it off
AbsolUTELY pointless without this. Couldn't agree more!
What should we torque the crash bar mounts to?
The crash bar bolt is a Toyota bolt therefore we recommend our customers to look up their specifications.
Find the original specs, but since this is only one of three bolts, and it only takes impact loads, the nut isn't doing any serious work besides keeping the bar on. Not like it's taking expansion stress like a hanging threaded rod with stuff stuff hanging from it.
So the wind deflectors don’t fit back in
Please contact our customer support team! infor@caliraisedled.com 888-385-5036
how many lumens?
300w 30,000 lumens.
How much you charge for the bar installation?
Angel Barbosa we charge $150 to install this kit.
@@CaliRaisedLED where is your adress so i can go and install one for my tacoma?
Either I got the wrong bracket, or you guys switched the style? Not the same as ebay was pictured on amazon and not like thus video
Do you have military discount & if not, what about credo discount lol class of ‘15
Will this work with a 34” ?
Our light-bar is 32" end to end, so I don't think a 34 would fit correctly!
@@CaliRaisedLED :(
why is there no details on 1. where to attach the relay, 2. where to attach the positive terminal of the battery and the ground, 3. showing actually running the wire through the firewall because that's probably the most annoying part of the install without proper tools
Were sorry you are having trouble. Please feel free to contact us if you still have trouble.
it's cool I found other videos on RUclips to help. Just found it weird how you guys were EXTREMELY specific with the bracket part but just completely flew by the wiring part.
@@fantasytensai we are in the process of filming new videos for people to better understand how to assemble our products
Normal man arms cannot fit into the tiny area to thread the screws into the light bar. Enlist a girlfriend or drop the bumper. Trust me.
Darn 300 bucks ill pass
That’s actually pretty cheap for 30,000 lumen light bar and including mounts. I just bought at 40” bar for my roof and it’s was $800. You get what you pay for.
Get a Ford Ranger - rolling a Toyota in Texas? Really man - come on. I’ll keep it polite, but that’s just wrong.
From Toyota: The Tacoma is assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas (TMMTX), in and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Baja California (TMMBC), in Baja California, .
Soooo...they may not all be made in TX, but some are a product of Texas and what's wrong w/supporting Texan labor?
Sorry we don’t like to buy Garbage trucks
Lol, these reliable trucks are built closer to Texas than whatever crappy American "Fix Or Repair Daily "truck you choose...
Is there any chance this light bar and location would be compatible with a low profile steel bumper with a winch? Specifically a southern style offroad slimline?
