Great explanation between 'fact' and 'feeling'. I love to write (or type, mostly) on my pages. Pages without any journaling are just picture books, unless it's a scrapbook about a particular trip or event where you have already written your journaling and no further comments are really needed. You might as well just hand me over a box of photos, which is pretty much what those before me did. I have loads of pictures, but they mean nothing to me other than there's my grandmother (don't know the year because no one took the time to document it) and here's a whole bunch of people I don't even know, but I can't bring myself to throw them away. 🤷♀️ I love your use of the large photo and the 3, 6x6 photos to create your pages.
Thank you so much for this, Ali! I seem to always struggle with journaling and feel like I’m never any good at it or don’t have enough to say; which is bullshit, I know. 🙈 I’d love to learn more though. How about you make this into a mini series? Just tossing the idea out there.😊
I tried listening to every word......but was so distracted by your cats adventures 😆. I think I’ll have to watch this again and stop myself from being entertained by the cat 😂
Thank you so much Ali. These videos are so helpful to better understand these journaling prompts. Loved see it all come together and it is in inspiring me to tell some of my own stories.
Thanks for all your insights as usual Ali. Can’t wait to dive into some journaling today. Non-scrapbooking questions: where did you get your white t-shirt? It looks long enough for tall girls.

Loving this video series, Ali! I look forward to it each week!
Loved this video! This is going to help me move away from only righting down the facts!
You’re awesome

Thanks for another helpful and fun video. Love that you are working with 12x12.
Totally love the freedom to do whatever size I want to do for the story!
I love craft journaling and this was wonderful 👍

Ha! He was so busy on this filming day.
Thanks Ali. This came at exactly the right time. I am stuck on some journaling right now and your ideas helped immensely.

Thank you so much for this!! I struggle with "pulling" the stories out and you gave some great tips. ❤❤
You can do it!
I loved this, thank you!
Just curious if these are cell phone pics or did you bring your camera onto the mountain. They are so beautiful!
Hi! These are all iPhone photos :).
Love these videos ❤️
