Love seeing your old Project Life pages. I think I stumbled on you in the Social Media era about 2013 and the monthly DITL. I love how this can be so simple or complicated as one chooses to make it!
I'm totally saying "twenty twenty one-y" from now on! :) Excited to join in tomorrow and to try documenting in the 4 x 6- just love that album and kit this year. Also love your gratitude tee Ali!
Loving these videos - the look back through the different "Day in the Life" projects nad the evolution is fantastic! I am scribbling ideas down, and feel very inspired by the different formats (black & white photos; time of day; different lenses...). Thank you Ali!!
This was fabulous! So many great ideas here. I'm thinking I might like to try this, but seasonally. So 1 day each season. I think I might try this next year! And put all of it in the same album.
A lot of great inspiration in this video, Ali! I was on the fence about doing this project, but after seeing your examples I think it's totally doable! I'm glad to hear the digital kit will be available since I've missed out on the physical. Thanks for sharing your ideas over the course of the years.
This was very interesting. For my birthday on the 16th of November I hope to do this...it has been a horrid year with major health issues for me causing us to cancel both of our vacations. Then on September 18 my husband went missing. After a week of nationwide bulletins, police with a search and rescue center set up near the park close to our home, drones, bloodhounds, helicopters, then my daughter Karina receiving a phone call from the police to inform her that he had been found in Memphis...and her husband booking flights and scrambling to get him back home...I am so empty inside. My granddaughters did 6 layouts this weekend for our family albums...various years...and I have stopped taking photos. I can't. I am not sure there will be any important "real" content that I would find inside me to write but I can photograph the little things...my breakfast, the book I am reading, the weather, dinner at my daughter's house for my birthday. The PTSD my husband is seeing a Major in the Army to help resolve twice a week is nothing compared to what is happening to me inside. I am guessing that I was meant to see this today. Thank you for all you do Ali... My daughter Lauren has taken over most of the December Daily and she has help from her daughter, almost 16, to work on past albums, etc. I am praying that I can manage to do this...
Loving these videos. This one offers so much great inspiration for DITL. This will be my first time playing along. So glad I was able to get the kit. I really think I'll do 6x8 though, in with other stories using the story kits.
Thank you Ali. Another great video with a ton of inspiration and ideas. I quite like the cards starting at 26:09 with the one word cards (on the left). I can't seem to find the digital version of these on the site. Are they still available digitally?
Hi Ali, I'm so excited to start documenting DITL and join in on week in the life in May. Just wondering where I can find the digital journal cards you show in your video (The counting today and ing words ones in particular)?
There are 4x4 albums. I just bought one on amazon and scrapbook.com has some really cute ones. Some not available today but coming in the next couple of months. Love these. Helped me think through how I want to it this year.
Hi Ali! This kind of storytelling is still a little bit intimidating for me and with the little bit that I’ve done I do love it, it just takes me quite a while to get a page layout done...not sure why. I love your process and your style, it inspires me! I noticed a particular font that you use a lot for titles even on your thumbnails for your videos, can I ask you what the name of that font is please? TY, Jules
Do you DITL Digital kits come with a PDF version so you can just print the cards? I don't do Digital, but it would be nice to just print out the cards when needed.
Hi Crystal - that's something we've been talking about doing. Generally our kits just include the PNG files of the cards for flexibility + individual printing. Let me check with our team!

Are you asking about the script? That's my own handwriting.
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc The "Craft The Story" in the thumbnail at the intro of your video.
@@TheJuleBoxStudios Yes - that's my handwriting. I use an iPad + Procreate to add my own text.

@@AliEdwardsDesignInc PDF options would be so helpful as I cannot print them from my computer to the right size.
Sounds like this will be able to happen with the cards in the DITL digital kit that will release next week!
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc thank you for replying!
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc Is there any plans to go back and add them to older kits?
The day in the life for 2021 is sold out will more be coming in stock?
The kit has sold out. The digital version will be available on Friday.
