I don't care whatever Horsepower, Torque, CC, Fuel Tank Capacity and all that, if there don't have enough Fuel Tank Distance Range.. I mean 400 km .. its ridiculous.. for Adventure Tourer..💔😭
After 400cc there is not much difference in mileage as in highway you're not utilising power just cruising only. Big bikes run at much lower RPM that's why not much difference in highway
I've saw the bike yesterday, I can tell u it is of very robust construction. Meaning that the rider has better chance to survive during a crash on this rather than a lightweight bike.
Update - it has been ~6k KM in last 4 months and these numbers are only city usage (non peak hours mostly) and i have seen average of 33KMPL rarely above 35 Meanwhile i also took long test ride of both Himalayan and Scrambler. Both these bike are just built with proper purpose but still don’t hamper the position of ADV (specially SW) much. Himalayan is built to tour and off-road, it would be not be best in city usage as it feels top-heavy. Coming from ADV i felt the seat was like seating on sofa and build quality was good. But the UX can be better in terms of tactile feedback while using the buttons and such small things that bother you over the long run but the engine was worth all the hype. Still it been the first lot i would not recommend this till late this or start of next year. Scram is a baby compared to both of these, it is a baby that is ready to pounce the moment u twist the throttle. I see many people comparing scram with other 2 and i feel its not built with same goal. so if you are 80% city usage then this is your go to bike. It’s the smallest of them all and the most nimble. But if you truly want to compare then compare it with Duke and then decide. Quality of bike is good but idk why all youtube reviews have said it is best in lot, i differ at this after riding the bike with gloves and the bike switches felt too small. Still i would say this a beautiful looking city machine (overkill) I bought SW after thinking of the products inline, still i went ahead because of the power delivery and nimbleness in both city and highway. Plus this bike feels like a toy when u play with it, not in irresponsible sense but one feels confident while riding it. Major headache before buying this was being tubeless, and its been 4months and still not one puncture🤞Adjustment in suspension makes you feel you have got different bike in different terrain. If you plan to buy this year at least have one proper long test ride of SW with all the different suspensions setting before buying Himalayan
