Did you have Picture in Picture for RUclips yet?
I’ve been seeing it but all the videos that I’ve seen it keeps thinking they’re all music only when that isn’t even the case for any of the videos that I noticed that error with

Good to see that it disappeared for other people too and not just me. I’ve been using it recently and I thought it was strange when I went into the settings and saw that it was missing.
It disappeared for me too. It won’t work anymore and I can’t find it anywhere in my settings 💀
you have to update the app then start the process

This is so strange. Sometimes I manage to accidentally trigger it when I’m exiting the app but I don’t have it. The option doesn’t appear in general for me and when I want it to work it doesn’t. It just happens occasionally and I don’t know why. :(

I literally think I just cracked the code but you have to have your phone in portion orientated mode on, then when you’re watching the video slowly slide up from the bottom as as in not like slowly dragging it, but slowly kind of flick it if that makes sense. I’ve been doing that and it’s been working every single time.

Got it last night and was excited after they took it away in May. Had it for years on my Android. Just switched to iPhone in April
Hey I switched to iPhone about the same time and was kinda upset it didn’t have that feature but gonna go try it now
Oh thank god. I was looking for a way to turn that off. It was enabled automatically for me. I found it so annoying because even when you don’t have a video playing and you close RUclips you’d still get a little gray box that would cover part of your screen for a few seconds.

Seeing this video and proceeds to search RUclips app on my phone, didn’t realize I was watching this video on it.

I restarted my phone and now it works I tried many different things and it’s a roller coaster you kind of just have to figure it out but restarting the phone worked for me ( and updating RUclips, offloading it, and just swiping from different angles, all did not work ) Edit: it broke again, we just have to live without it for a little while

Not sure if this has already been flagged as it seems to be quite common but, here in the UK on the latest Android OS, sometimes PIP will work & other times it won't?
I can see absolutely no reason for this.
There is no PIP feature in settings here yet....

Oh my God…I love it! Just tried it again on my other account where I followed u…it works for movies and in most apps, while u are scrolling, even when I was in Apple Music, Spotify or iMessage! It’s also so helpful because I watch informational and tech videos all the time, so it’s helpful to be able to finally, without paying money, use it, so I can do other things and still listen or watch and get the information I need!!! Love being able to use it for my movies! Will be on my other account for a while, till it comes to this one…but ❤️ Impressive and much needed feature! 🙏

I had it when it was a test feature for Premium members but haven’t got it back since. I think my RUclips is glitched. When I redownload the app and log in, I go to settings to turn dark mode on, and I see PIP is on by default, when I go to the Home Screen during a video though the video keeps playing in the background like it would in the past but no PIP, then when I go back to the settings the option for PIP is gone completely

I'm surprised Zollo is the first to point this out as intentional I thought I did a glitch in the system and had PIP for free randomly, I remember back in 2016 or 2015 when PIP was standard and free, and then one day it just stopped working and got removed, hopefully, this time it's permanently staying free.

Did you to remove Picture in Picture Again or something because it was working for literally one day and then the option was just gone and I have premium and if it’s a glitch on my app RUclips needs to fix this

Oh thank god this video was posted i switched phones and my old phone could do it without doing anything it was automatic but after he showed to go to RUclips settings I was relieved to know that was the issue everyone else kept telling me to go to the phones settings but that did nothing
