Kinda weird why did their balance profile actually supplying more power to the CPU and GPU from this review. Balanced can go as high as 150w in that CP2077 while Performance at 140w. The only difference is that Performance profile 4060 here clocked about 15Mhz higher
I bought this laptop, it came with the MSI logo apparently with a manufacturing defect, as the print quality is really poor. I'm referring to the Dragon logo on the external part of the laptop lid. Can you confirm if is it normal? Is it like an odd blurry effect made on purpose? Or is it a manufacturing defect? Great video and Thanks in advance!!
1500usd for 4060 seems a little steep for me , I saw on microcenter the Acer Helios 4080 12gbvram at 2184usd (with microcenter card) and for 600 bucks more I think is a big upgrade. Enjoy the laptop man!.
I didn't keep this laptop, I don't keep 90% of the laptops I review. My current set up is legion pro 7 I have benq Mobiuz ex2710 external monitor and use laptop screen as secondary screen. Of course I do sometimes take the laptop places without the monitor and much much prefer 16:10 16" screen compared to the traditional 15.6" screen.
Brother i am planning to buy the legion 7 2021 3070 i was plannong to get the legion 7 6700m from 2022 but it isn't availble in my country so . What do you think will it be tied to 6700m.
I wonder why laptops can't fit good camera like selfie cam on phones...even a decent 12mp😢 Btw I ordered mine with 4070 13620h for 1699€ deal (Darty France).
The asus rog strix amd advantage costs $1350 with a QHD 165hz panel, more vram, which is actually sufficient for 1440p and a much better battery life. The aorus 15p with a 140w rtx 3070 costs $1150 on bestbuy and packs a i7 12700h. With a 240hz 1080p panel. So, this rtx 4060 is just massively inflated. And what, is it going to come down to $1000 only after sales and discounts? This is just a straight up terrible price. Let me remind you that the gigabyte g5 105w rtx 3060 laptops costed $1000, gave you a 100% srgb panel and more upgradability than this MSI. The rtx 4060's vram isn't enough for 1440p. 8gb of vram is now firmly 1080p territory, where it can comfortably max out 1080p. The rtx 3060's 6gb was barely enough for 1080p and now its struggling, the rtx 4060 is the same for 1440p. Its enough this year, but next year its not.
I like you reviews so much. Keep it up!

I didn't notice that very briefly, yeah balanced is basically just performance with slightly less aggressive fans
@@grumblez
Yeah, i guess if we can OC the 4060 at MSI AB, balance profile seems to be the ideal one here.
Excellent work. Thank you
Interesting it keeps so quiet in silent mode. Would you say it's one of the quietest laptops you've tried?
Great review man, definitely looking forward to this laptop!

Sorry I don't have it anymore so couldn't tell you. I don't remember it being blurry looking but it's been a while
If this laptop good for 4k video editing?
Anyone please reply to this comment 😅
Good for anything bro
Hi great video thanks. Do you think rtx 4060 laptop gpu is enough power for qhd 60fps+ games?
In the majority of games
Thanks.
Why is your CPU clock so low?

The price on micro center got lowered to 1200 making this a much more appealing option
will you consider buying a monitor or you're just gonna use the laptop's screen?

Does it have additional storage slots?
Only 1 SSD slot
Yes
How use gsync or adaptive sync
What laptop is next?
G5 KF is one I would like to see lol
Hi! Hqve you ever noticed the gpu hit 140 watts?
No, the highest I saw it boost to was like 125 maybe?
With that said it does appear with 4060 and 4070 you get VERY diminished returns for anything over 100 watts power draw
Has this got g sync?
Cyberpunk settings QHD?

6700m slightly better than 3070 outside of ray tracing, but 3070 should be perfectly fine for a few years
do not buy the legion line up. i had 3 laptop in 1 week they all failed on bsod. now im waiting for my refund so i can go and buy a msi pulse.
Tgp?
Is this the QHD or FHD version?
QHD
