I feel like you are weird if you make beats in pro tools
most of the time they're mixing in pro tools but producing in Ableton , fl etc
Facts I never seen that before 😂😂
@@Jqbebuggin its because you never met a industry producer
@@ISLANDVISUALS309 first of alll u on dikkkk heavy I met cash cobain the biggest producer / artist himself and i went to the studio in mount Vernon they use this pro tools not logic 😭😭 Soo hop off thank uu
I see alot of people using studio one and Reaper if its not logic.
You both are wrong..there is no best daw, they’re all good at whatever they do
lol
G has gms
Gorillaz album made on an iPad. Talent is talent, No contest
@@jordanisroyale Whats so God damn funny? They all blow ass. I wish Abelton wasn't so hard to learn because I feel like it's better for electronic music. Was trying to learn FM8 and logic doesn't have a instrument rack. But then I realized that I press B and the controls come up and you can route them to the knobs to use as macros and all you gotta do is press learn then click on the parameter and boom! Instrument rack in logic. Logic is good and pro tools can blow up your speakers.
Logics step fx, remix fx, phat fx, plugins that were recently added along with logic live and a step sequencer with randomize steps for velocity, pitch, transpose, notes, gate, tie, opitions. Plus they have nice mastering presets and just added knock A B C to simulate FL mastering presets. Idk Logic is a pretty damn good piece of sh1t software. I'll tell ya that much. Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol.....
brb while I pay that "industry standard" subscription fee for a boomer-era DAW instead of using Reaper or Logic, like a civilized human being. 👌🏻
maybe I am a boomer 🤷♂️
Correct protools is for boomers
I’m a 1997 boomer then😂
😂😂😂😂😂

Ive used Ableton, Logic, FL and pro tools. Its fun to learn multiple and your get a different perspective for your flowstate when working on projects. It could even change the style of your projects as different limitations and conveniences provide little nuances to your production. DAW loyalists are wasting time fighting over the supposed quality of DAWs when they really should be fighting about the quality of music the individual artist puts out. The only time i could see an argument to be made is if an entire band is complaining that its more difficult to express themselves on another person’s DAW and collab. But if we’re talking individual music production, who freaking cares? yall need to shut up and let people make music the way they want to.
Yeah, in all honesty each DAW has the same things, it’s just different controls.
Facts I tell people all the time don’t matter the DAW as an engineer by trade you will have a beautiful mix every single time doesn’t matter what I’m using
Man logic is the best lol i lovd tha shit. From the interphase to to how it functions and the stock plugins. That shit is great
I use both I make beats on Logic and mix them on pro tools you can’t compare softwares one is for beat making and you can also mix on Logic don’t get me wrong but I prefer to mix I. Pro tools that’s just me but I love both so their both good for me
in terms of sound logic sounds way way better in a studio environment for some reason
There is no BEST DAW it’s what you make out of it what truly matters!!
This is true as well. It does get frustrating collabing with someone tho that uses a different DAW
As much as i hate to admit it, Pro Tools has the best summing engine and makes it the perfect DAW for recording, mixing and mastering tasks. Then i personally use Logic Pro or FL Studio for producing and sound design.
@@DorinBriciu Really? Have you tried Cubase?
@@DorinBriciu Really? Have you tried SawStudio?
Logic Pro is my current DAW, and works well for me. The thing with Ableton and Pro Tools is that I heard they have a large learning curve.
Understandable. But to get better you have to practice first!
@@jordanisroyale Of course!
I’m starting in ableton
@@PanHoover882 kind of like you needing to practice in Logic
@@jordanisroyalemost things you do in your daw can be done 1.25x-1.5x faster on Logic
They all do the same shit
Ok
@@jordanisroyale stop liking your own comments 😂
Respectfully, I’ve probably been producing, recording & mixing, longer than you’ve been alive. I’ve actually engineered & sat in on commercial studio sessions in Pro Tools …& watched it fail, miserably & repeatedly. I’ve pretty much used them all …even the ones most people don’t know about, like Magix Samplitude, Cool Edit Pro, Orion Platinum, etc.
Pro Tools had its heyday, back when it was the only ‘somewhat’ stable multi-track game in town …on account of its proprietary DSP farm cards. When computers got powerful enough, I watched Pro Tools get smoked by purely native DAW’s, like Nuendo & Logic …which has ‘always’ been a more well-rounded composition, editing ‘&’ mixing platform.
Pro Tools only achieved its status, because like AOL, it got their ‘first’ …not cause it’s better, or even any good. That said, if it works for you, use it.✌🏾
What top 3 would you say is your favourite daws
What's your favorite daw? Your opinion seems to have much value !
@@SjarMenace, Logic as an all rounder, Steinberg Nuendo for editing, Harrison Mixbus for best sound.
@@josephr.8344 Than you. Logic Pro X is my fav. Started with it when it was available for Windows OS.
@@warriorpoet1643 i tried it but ableton is pretty awesome too dont you think?
Studio One Professional is my "weapon" of choice... for its ease of use and less-than-steep learning curve. Not to mention that many of the stock-plugins are of top tier quality.
but the bottom line is whatever DAW you use can be used to make Grammy-worthy recordings! NO DBEATE CONTEST from me on this.
I love studio one. It's my DAW of choice as well. Stock effects, yes, they are great. The sample xt needs work compared to other DAWs. And the stock instruments aren't vast enough imo. It's still the best overall DAW to me.
Pro tools is a great DAW especially for mastering and mixing. The learning curve is quite steep.
Ableton is fantastic for splicing and editing samples. It has a very large learning curve but works well for pattern based music without vocals.
Logic Pro X is the easiest DAW to learn and the fastest way to lay tracks. Logic is great for singer songwriters and works well for vocal based musicians. The reason logic is so popular is that musicians can easily lay down tracks and send them off to get get mixed and mastered.
I like fl studio and when I got logic that was the best value of any DAW and all DAW are pretty much the same.
The easier is Reaper, no match.
Logic’s also GREAT with midi. If you use a lot of external hardware, synths, etc it may be the best option especially for the price/perpetual license.
@@channelofstuff6662 FL studio is cool but it ain't a DAW you'll see in a professional recording studio
@atetraxx
A normal person isn't going to have a professional recording studio though you can still make music in anything and put it in what ever tool you want.
i’m 19 and hearing ppl who u use logic call pro tools users in cringy (have respect for ppl teaching us production) and hearing protools/abelton users say logic isn’t good is just foul (cause again 19 yrs old and logic gives me freedom to seriously make everything i hear in my head)
Logic is the king of daws
Lol I own both I make beats on Logic and mix however I transfer stems to pro tools to mix better and master I like both for different reasons people always comparing I even own ableton don’t use it as much but I know to make beats on ableton lesrn everything
I learned Ableton Live by myself and it was my first DAW and later Pro Tools and a little bit of Logic at SAE. Pro Tools is fine for larger recordings in a traditional studio and also editing, mixing and mastering but for midi related stuff and actually making electronic beats it was the most unintuitive DAW i experienced. Logic Pro is a good allrounder that has features of traditional and modern creative DAWs as well and is suited for making beats too. Personally i stick with Live, even if i miss some editing features, all in all it simply suits more of my needs then the other DAWs. It strongly depends on what you're doing. Even if i am not a big Pro Tools fans there are tasks i am much faster using PT than Live. In my opinion there is no King in DAWs just experts in different areas.
I am pro tools certified and use to be a Pro Tools 100% over all others but since PT2018 when avid scammed me I've been on Logic, I mean I still use Pro Tools at other studios and keep a cracked version to open old files but yeah logic does all the same things, maybe each have a few little things different amd PTs might be better for tracking like bands and stuff.
I don't get your video tho, u didn't really make any points about why PTs is better. One thing I will guarantee you is Pro Tools is alot more expensive for about the same thing...when they went to sub plan recently I died laughing.
They start a sub plan but u got to back date your osx to high Sierra hahahaha
You can literally put the same quick keys in logic from protools and you can produce in logic a lot easier. They wouldn’t teach it along with protools of it wasn’t good. Music school have been teaching it since 2012-2013
Was watching kids learn Pro Tools in Hollywood in 07. Don’t know what they do now. I make beats for rappers in Canada with Logic and get paid. Cheers 🤙🏻
Cheers homie! Thx for checking the vid out
well not everybody has $20 a month for pro tools
The best is so subjective!!! That’s why I don’t say what or who’s the best!!!
Logic and FL ableton the best DAW hands down
Finally someone that agrees wit me
Yea u right
Eew no
Reaper is better
Yeah buddy!
There is no one best for everything. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you know them, you'd know this already
Ableton ftw
Nahhhh Pro Tools
All are better than pro tools though!
I love Logic, I Started out on Garage Band and my friends all use fruity loops and ableton and they don’t look my style, pro tools looks overwhelming, to me it’s all about what fits you and what truly matters is that the final product is 🔥🔥🔥
Pro tools is great for editing, logic is amazing for musicians, the creating end. Imo. Plus logic doesn't charge monthly.
Well you're on windows so you couldn't even load the dmg but go on
Ndiffrence between logic and fl studio is that on windows you can have expensive plugins for example antares cracked from websites and on mac you cant
I use logic for film editing since it’s the best when editing in final cur
FL FOR LIFE 🔥
FL IS dope for beatmaking. I've seen some people do some pretty cool stuff within the limitations.
@@jordanisroyale their are no limitations in fl...If u have proper knowledge about music u can do wonders....Fl is for sure the top Daw and most easy to use🔥
@@YunusKash02 It sucks in recording vocals
@@ill2illestIn what way??? How hard can it be to record a bloody vocal??? Maybe ur just dumb???? Fl studio has some of the best plugins and audio editing tools around mate....
@@ill2illestit depents... if you have no problem with routing and editing 🤪
ProTools? More like SlowTools.
Logic is better for sequencing and Protools is better for mixing and mastering.
Logic pro have the best bus system
Cost wise and pound for pound, Logic is the best.
Nah pro tools the opps, FL Gang 🗿
boomer-era sounds recreated and worshipped by Travis Scott and so many are so popular right now lol i don't even know if they know what they're talking about
I loved recording rock music on Pro Tools when I switched from logic, I liked the workflow for editing audio far better than logic. But when I made more MIDI heavy songs and compositions I missed logic’s workflow, however I didn’t miss much else about it. Now I use Nuendo and it’s a perfect balance of the two for me. Couldn’t be happier.
ForFools back then and still today
All my music friends use different daws than me and everytime I’ve worked in person with them on each daw the more I realize that it really is all about preference and what music u make for example most bedroom pop artists use Logic Pro or ableton because the sound fits so well with what they make while I have a lot of friends that make rock and indie music that prefer reaper or pro tools because they fit well with what they make!! So remember it’s all preference none are better
Ableton sweeps
fl studio is king
audacity is the best 😂
guys it's not the car that matters, but the driver
Pro tools is simply the 🐐
CLA VOCAAAAAAALS
Protools hasn’t left the early 2000s. Lol
All DAWs are unique in different ways so it’s all about the producer’s preference
I Love Logic. I use Logic, Ableton Live, Melodyne, Avid Pro Tools, Auralia & Musition right now. I have the launch pad and the Novation launchkey 25
Musicians will say Logic treats them better. Pro Tools may treat recording/mix engineers better. There is no overall better one when they both get you good results. Same thing with people comparing Native Instruments and Spectrasonic VSTs. Just make the best out of what your computer can handle.
Exactly. If the goal is to work as a recording & mix engineer at a fast paced, pro studio- learn pro tools
Otherwise, any other daw is fine
@@spenserwilliams5592 Yep. Most DAWs can be good for fast workflow. You just have to set them up the way your mind works. I personally like Logic and Cubase. Reaper has been growing in popularity lately.
Logic is by far the best for the money, and you could easily create a platinum album provided you had the skills for just £200 all included. No 3rd party instruments needed, and the audio aspect for recording any type of vocal or even a Symphonic Choir in logic is unlike any other daw. Each to their own but apple wins in the value for money area.
Can literally do the same thing in ProTools
@@dktselection7952 But its way out of the price range of most people, even the most basic version. Its all so a lot less user friendly, but i suppose every person has their own preference. I just think logic is the most user friendly out there and has a package as powerful as tools or any other daw for the same price as a tank of gas.
The best for the money is Studio One. Imagine you buying the Artist version at 99$
Thats not always the case, for instance logic piano and drums samples are top notch while guitars and amps are terrible. Their synths and equalizers are very good. Compressor? Meh, okay at best.
Disclosure Settle, made in logic, mostly stock plugs although I saw a handful of third-party like Effectrix, sylenth, decimort.
fr tho learning pro tools beyond worth it , so much struggling but WORTH IT
CLA VOCAAAAAAAAAALSSSSSSSS
Pro tools and Ableton 🔥
Also logic
its all preference
Are you 5 years old? “My toy is better than yours” Gtfo the internet child
Lol wat
I’m all in on Harrison Mixbus bruh! 😂😂😂
That is 100% the AudioUTOPIA crack of Pro Tools 12.
It's Avid though, so I respect that.
We all know FL studio is the GOAT when it comes to DAWS💯
Aint no way that man using pro tools and talking 💀
No1 says this about any daw, well maybe people say PT is the best, but obviously that's only if you remember to CMD S before it crashes on you.
I see she has the old PT still running 😂😂
They do the same thing lmao 🤣 y’all hilarious
Number of hit records made on every other daw combined < %0.0001 vs pro tools!
An engineers opinion on Logic Pro tells me everything I need to know about them
They are in the top 3 for sure.. Pro Tools, Abelton, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Adobe Audition. There's some good ones, just a matter of how it works for YOU
Logic is simple and well organized for song writers, Ableton is for mad scientist and those with 2020 vision. Pro tool is for huge projects with live instruments. Studio one is for mixing engineers. You can produce in all of them though, depending on your workflow.
Logic would be the best if it was on windows too
logic is a great DAW but if you don't use Mac like I do, Reaper or Studio One is the best way to go in my opinion
Logic is what I use... When we go to the big studio they use protools everything sounds more solid from the jump... Even when people send me tracks to mix that they have recorded on protools they sound more solid... My ears can tell the difference between quality of stems, but I'd hate to say quality it's more like flavor of sauce they were dipped in...
logic gave us a free Dolby atmos version while avid selling it for 200 lmao.
Talent is the best overall determining factor over which daw is best. If you are talented you can make music on anything even on some cheap free daw.
What software is this
If I focus on what you show in the video, you’re using only third party plugins 😅 you can basically do it in any DAW 😂
Wow, brining up some basic plugin windows. Mind blown.
Pro tools... No way 💀
pro tools for the old heads “industry standard” is literally bs
My eyes: 💀
Imagine using soundtrsp
Any reason why u choose windows PC rig over Mac mini, iMac etc. ?
Whatever the DAW that you are using is not a matter, how you are using for your production is upto your skill and talent 🥰
Pro Tools it bloated code held together with duct tape.
I use both but in reality Logic is better for production. When I mix for clients I use ProTools but let’s shit on FL instead 😊
FL has the fastest loading time, Ableton has the best splicing/sampling capabilities, and Logic has the best built in instruments.
What daw you using
reaper best daw
U sure about that? Lol
I have reaper and logic and fory purposes logic is 10 times better than reaper. Here is why. I'm a beginner and I want to get good sounding tracks. Logic does so much for you automatically that makes it sound amazing. There are so many stock plugins that are easy to use that just work great.
The benefits of reaper is that it's free and engineers seem to like it because its light, customisable and stable.
I have fl studio and logic pro
Well i think tho we can all agree that protools is the worst
*Mario Paint has entered the chat*
I use logic for the synths and orchestral ins and samples but when it comes to waveform work, track organization, I'm dug in to ableton. Pro Tools I fear and respect though in terms of tracking and recording.
Apogee Quartet to Pro Tools might sound better but with Ableton I can move faster.
literally give me eye pain
Ardour 💪
After I analyzed for log period. DAW is not big matter. If you master on you DAW and develop your skill.
I got waves f6 rta
Depends what you use it for. Every daw has pros and cons. I never found pro tools to give me a solid workflow and it was clunky.
I would suggest using whatever works for you. Some swear by FLstudio & Fruityloopz I think it sucks lol. And some swear by GarageBand I hate that too lol.
pro tools is literally the most far removed from making beats. FL Logic Ableton n reaper lookin down at u 😂
Nahhh. Too many out there to make that statement
Nuendo user here ✌🏻
Sht boffum intimidating asl 😭 ESPECIALLY pro tools I thought I broke sum sht
It can be daunting at first, but that's really with anything in life
Logic is simple and easier to use. Pro tools scares me lol
