- Today we fix yet another Trail Master MB200 faulty frame design. We pull off the engine cradle and swap out those rubber bushings for our own metal slug bushings. This will greatly help to stiffen up your MB200 frame and keep you from kicking chains and braking frames. We also upgrade the look with some aftermarket dirt bike fenders! The purpose of the rubber bushings is to reduce engine vibration to the frame.. but if you're thrashing on it,, engine vibration isn't really an worry.
( who else remembers pushing an old push mower over a whole yard and not being able to feel you hands after?)
We adding a lot off power to these bikes and pushing them to the limit like Rick Ross😅

Thank you for the info on the bushings! I definitely don't doubt that after 2 years my rubber bushings are probably worn out already. And I got a fully built Tillotson 225 on there pushing 20 horses.
Harbor Freight has side cutting drill bits that may make the rubber bushing removal easier. Love your content keep up the great work. The only thing missing is small diesel craziness like the diesel duce.

I cut the secondary off with a grinder and used the cvt plates they sell online with a juggernaut driver but I only had a 212 ghost with minimal mods. I plan to drop in a brand new 301 and I have a duromax420 in need of a good flywheel that will be going back on the older bike. I like these new frames a lot because of the rear swingarm.

Those swing arm bushing should have a sleev in them that spins freely In it so it's not twisting those brackets
Or grind the paint and weld it up?
Why not just use a hole saw to cut the bushings out? About 1” or
1 1/8”?
If you're going to install metal(steel or brass) bushings ,try putting the bushings in the freezer overnight, they'll shrink enough to make installation a lot easier{dry ice works great too}
I'm really disappointed we didn't get a "jeepers Mr. You're really strong" when the bushings got hammered in 😢😮😟😟😣😢😥
Have you wondered how polyurethane bushings would work?
Always amazes me how that little engine pulls full size adults, is it good enough? I would have liked a 420/460 motor just for the cubes

Changing the sprocket isn't a bad idea, I just suggest that you wait until your done testing the wildcat engine so all the tests with the engine stays the same
Well the only problem is the belt cant handle anymore power at that gear ratio.
@RedBeardsGarage very true, I forgot about that. It will do great with the sprocket upgrade. Learned alot from watching your engine builds. Keep up the great content.
They probably did it because of all the vibration. Until the motors until they break in.

Why would you want swing arm bushings to be steel on bolt? Two ball bearings together on each side would be better. Put a bigger rear jackshaft sprocket on and a smaller rear wheel sprocket.
I bet you're going to get a lot of comments on how you treat your screwdrivers.😅

Bud I think younz are to the point of red beards mini bike..made and designed by yall. You just need to build a beast mini bike that can handle a 200lb plus person everyday..tough sure will be but I think if you build it there gonna buy it..keep on keeping on.

That 223 is a spicy build for the bucks.
I find it hard to believe these are the best frames seems like the Coleman ct200 type frames just seem superior if I need to do all this to make a bikes suspension last I mine as well get a pit bike
I've got a MB200X 1st thing i did was through away the plastic gas tank,removed decals. Then painted it black,what a difference, stage 1 kit and away we go.
Two things one you should build or buy manco fat cat or big cat and when or well you been going to a swap meet thing again

I run 9 - 60 tooth sprockets on my Trailmaster with 301cc and it helped the belt life a lot. Cheers.
