I'm a chev guy ....but I started with a Mopar....this is one sweet ride....if it's made in murca, has eight cylinders.....and not a Ford...kin minty..💪🤣🍺🇳🇿
Young people at that… lot of the younger kids are into what technology can do for them and see old stuff as outdated and useless. I’m okay with combining the two but todays throw away and replace society has gotta go.
I can't express how happy it makes me to see you, Tommy, working out of your own shop. You have a very special second family there. Proud of all of you.
@jeffkovalik7395 Yup, absolutely a great racer. He always has a smile on his face. I can be having a bad day, and his laugh and smile can change that in an instant.
Knock it off lol. There’s no converting. As a die hard Chevy guy myself we are allowed to enjoy all motorsports and brands in situations like this but we have to stay Chevy at our core. I’ll be the first to admit thing like ford finally getting it right with the new coyote. But that bow tie is where it’s at even with them disappointing the heck out of me lately with their decisions.
For myself, there isn’t anything better than an old Mopar. And as I stated. I love a Duster. Have owned 4 of them in the past. Used to drag them in the street in my area back in the 90s
That car is clean as all get out for sitting so long. I really loved seeing Jeffs reaction when the car actually fired up. Looking forward to the series of videos seeing what y’all do to the car. 👍
Man does that car bring me back to when I was a teenager. Every Duster at the track looked like that! Stickers, sitting high in the back, the wheels and those gauges were in every one’s car. I had them in my Firebird and my buddy’s 70 Formula. I just went back to 1990! Great find! Best of luck with the Duster!
GREAT cinematography & Superb editing on the intro! The vintage footage was perfect. This channel could easily be the strongest in “family”. Unfortunately there are just not enough hours in the day…
The scratchy throw back videos are such a vibe. So cool to see them, but sad to know that generation is gone and it won’t be a experience. Using windup cameras and having film developed.
Hey guys! This is great! The Duster is awesome! What a good buy! Can’t wait to see it run. Good to see Allison and her family back in the content. Nice job. Looking forward to see what goes on from here. Stay safe😀😀
Definitely glad to see you guys G2G and Jeff and of course shop manager momma Tiffany puttin work on the duster can’t wait to see it completely finished and driving around keep up the awesome videos
absolutely awesome! 340 sounds good and the whole look/vibe on that thing is the perfect batch of nostagia and nasty. good luck, cannot wait to see it run. please run it as is before you lower it! it does look stink bug high but that's the way it happened back then.
Hope Jeff turns this thing into a street car. I love racing but im Jeff and Bills age and honestly the older i get the more I appreciate just going for a cruise in my old car. Takes me back to when everything was a lot simpler. I started driving in the late 80s and old muscle cars were still out cruising the town.
That crane cams sticker on the front driver quarter panel hits home, I have my dads small journal steel crank 327 sbc that was in his 80 monte he built in early 90's with a crane cam. They don't even make cams anymore
@23:21,,,"The whole car needs lowering about 4 inches,," Nooooo! 🙂Pleeze keep it as it is and as it was,, it sits right for the purpose it served all those amazing race history years.
Great video as always. I don't watch much tv anymore but i dont miss videos from all the src family channels. The old footage really helps tell the story of that car.
That's awesome man! It reminds me of a friend of mine, he had one, he was so pissed when I'd beat him in my 71 Chevelle SS! 😂 Those were the days! Damn I still miss my Chevelle!
I think the duster should be the shop supervisor bracket car and race on the weekends with the dart and Jeffaffa and see who has the most consistent time slips and Tommy can vlog the whole thing!
I wish I still had the 2X4 cross ram intake for a 340 I would have donated it. It actually worked really well with two AFB Carters. Have fun with the car it looks awesome.
The guy you bought that Duster from is about my age. We rode in those cars when they were brand new! Yeah.......we have stories to tell! Thanks for doing what you do so well! Love this channel!
Gonna love the content that’s in the works. Being able to see the step side being finished and more work on the dart and now adding the duster to the mix. Y’all are going to knock it out of the park.
I do so enjoy your videos when you 3 and the shop manager get together it's always a great time. Tommy and Allison are always great when they are together. You can see the love they have for each other. This is such a great channel to watch. We just need more videos lol.
36 secs in and absolutely excited to watch the rest. I've been looking forward to this broadcast.... I hope you and Allison and her family can really get us more..lol .. Now back to the show Cheers from🇨🇦
I am not big mopar fan but I have always liked those style of dusters. I think its so cool for Jeff to end up with this car knowing the owner and the history of the car. Always enjoy your videos Tommy and Allison you guys are great people. Looking forward to seeing what all you do with this car. Have a great week!
I truly think Jeff needs his own channel or be involved more. His reactions and enthusiasm is priceless. This is not a dig on anybody but it does add a new dimension to the channel.
To properly revive a optima battery you hook it up to a fully charged battery and also a battery charger and charge. That's what the owners guide said when I bought a new one. That car is awesome
What a cool piece of history ! It couldn't have landed in a better MOPAR home . Would love to see it back on the streets again ! Congrats on a great purchase.
I always liked those wheels. It’s good to see you revive old cars with history. All my cars were on thier way or from the junkyard. But I like bringing back from the dead.
My first cat was a Hemi Orange 72 Duster. It had a blacked out hood and center strobe stripes. Black stripes down the side and black stripes around the tail lights. It had a 318 with a 3 on the floor. 8 3/4 rear end with 3:23 gears. With in the first year I had added 340 heads with 3 angle valve job. Cam dynamics cam and double roller timing chain. Edelbrock 4 bbl intake with a Carter avs 750. A set of cyclone headers and 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust eight he famous Duster chrome tail pipes. A set of Crager SS wheels and Road Hugger white letter tires. I went street racing in that car all over Kannapolis and Concord NC. I was only 16 when I got it. Paid for it with my job at KFC. I sure miss that car. I remember the car payment was $88 .00 a month. Those were the days. I still have dreams of driving that car. Many a week end at the car wash hanging out with all the guys from school who had hot cars. Thanks for the video that is one nice Duster. I will be watching for future videos.
I'm not a mopar guy, but it's awesome to see people keeping the old cars alive
I'm a chev guy ....but I started with a Mopar....this is one sweet ride....if it's made in murca, has eight cylinders.....and not a Ford...kin minty..💪🤣🍺🇳🇿
Young people at that… lot of the younger kids are into what technology can do for them and see old stuff as outdated and useless. I’m okay with combining the two but todays throw away and replace society has gotta go.
Me either but that's still cool!
Couldn't agree more!!
Jeff’s reaction when it fired for the first time was priceless!
I love that the whole family works together on projects.
I can't express how happy it makes me to see you, Tommy, working out of your own shop. You have a very special second family there. Proud of all of you.
Here, Here!
I thought Jeff was going to put it on the chip for a second there, so cool to see another classic back running and getting loved on like it deserves!
Jeff was like a kid in a candy store. It’s awesome to see an old vintage drag car getting a 2nd chance in life. It looks fabulous ❤
AND it couldn't have gone to a finer, more appreciative of it's history family. It's remaining days will be happy ones.
It's so awesome to see yall doing good, It brings tears to my eyes. Yall give me hope for the next generation . Keep up the great work!
Nice to see another hot rod getting ready to roll
What a beautiful survivor. Especially being a race car with all original sheet metal. Looking forward to seeing more of it.
Never seen Jeff this happy.
Jon Chapman is the kindest racer period. Been racing with him for 20+ years. Solid dude!
Yessir. Truly a good family man and one heck of a good racer
@jeffkovalik7395 Yup, absolutely a great racer. He always has a smile on his face. I can be having a bad day, and his laugh and smile can change that in an instant.
This channel is starting to make me really like Mopar !!
Nice ride guy's...Perfect for sick week next year!!
I heard old man Bill call it "The Mexican Nova"
😅😅
That is so cool to see that car come back to life. Certainly speaks to the quality of its build back in the day. Can't wait to see it making passes
Man that Duster is like a time capsule without any rust.Cant wait to hear it with a little tuning.
I'm a lifelong Chevy guy, but you guys are slowly winning me over! What a joy to see you four get that Duster running again.
Sounded really good in between the buildings.
Jeffaffa and miss Tiff need a RUclips channel and start taking that car on drag and drives. It's sweet.
I agree! Dig Jeff-f-f-fa!
For myself, there isn’t anything better than an old Mopar. And as I stated. I love a Duster. Have owned 4 of them in the past. Used to drag them in the street in my area back in the 90s
That car is amazing and it couldn’t have gone to better owners. It will be cherished!
That car is clean as all get out for sitting so long. I really loved seeing Jeffs reaction when the car actually fired up. Looking forward to the series of videos seeing what y’all do to the car. 👍
You show great team work. Also great content for the car world.Thank you God bless

Jeff had me all giddy just watching his excitement and happiness. Contagious he is
GREAT cinematography & Superb editing on the intro! The vintage footage was perfect. This channel could easily be the strongest in “family”. Unfortunately there are just not enough hours in the day…
THE BEST FAMILY ON RUclips. what yall have built and continue to grow over there is special. 🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🤘🤘
The scratchy throw back videos are such a vibe. So cool to see them, but sad to know that generation is gone and it won’t be a experience. Using windup cameras and having film developed.
jeff is like a kid in a candy store with this car
That is a beautiful Duster, thanks for documenting the revival. Looking forward to more.

Y’all are doing great with this channel! The content y’all make is amazing! I hope for all the success for you guys ❤
That duster is pretty badass right now without doing anything to it
I'm glad RUclips recommended me, my highschool hotrod 72 Duster , me and brother replaced the 318 with a 340.
I love that Duster. Beautiful car!
Hope Jeff turns this thing into a street car. I love racing but im Jeff and Bills age and honestly the older i get the more I appreciate just going for a cruise in my old car. @23:21,,,"The whole car needs lowering about 4 inches,," Nooooo! 🙂Pleeze keep it as it is and as it was,, it sits right for the purpose it served all those amazing race history years.
Dude.... you all lucked out big time! Such a cool ride with cool history.

I definitely keep the car his greatest shape as it is in there’s no doubt

That Duster is cool!! Love seeing old Chrysler products. Cars that deserve to be storming the roads!!
It's alive!!!!! Great job on saving this old track warrior. CHUMPY
Nice...congratulations!!! That's my favorite year for a Duster!
I think the duster should be the shop supervisor bracket car and race on the weekends with the dart and Jeffaffa and see who has the most consistent time slips and Tommy can vlog the whole thing!
Never seen that guy so excited...definitely cool to seeypu guys save an old piece of history. Especially someone Jeff has raced with!

Not a Mopar fan but dusters are a favorite
Yes sir thanks for all the great content y’all 🎉🎉🎉
Think that could be a great little drag and drive motor when finished
My first car, Hurst 340, wrong car for a 16 year old!
Wish I still had it as an old Disabled Veteran after so many years and war zones ago.
I do so enjoy your videos when you 3 and the shop manager get together it's always a great time. Tommy and Allison are always great when they are together. You can see the love they have for each other. This is such a great channel to watch. We just need more videos lol.

Love the "Jeff cam" when he was in the car and it started.
It looks so much better with the stickers removed! It’ll be perfect lowered a little on caltracs. It definitely has that 80’s/90’s Mopar stance, lol
Awesome ride. I love the old dusters
Love the blended brand family! The new addition is awesome! Congratulations!
Jeff will make that car actually look good. Looking forward to seeing that.

It's MOPAR or NO CAR love the sound of Mopars I bought a brand new 66 Hemi Charger and had a 66 383 Charger and a 63 Belvedere
I always liked those wheels. It’s good to see you revive old cars with history. All my cars were on thier way or from the junkyard. But I like bringing back from the dead.

Use polish first to bring the color back and rejuvenate the paint, then wax second to protect and keep it.
