We can't have players delivering flying elbows. You can end careers that way.
This is an attempt to injure match penalty all day long.

    • @bwdnako

This is the most upsetting part, just like the leaping head first at a player, it doesn't matter what principle point of contact is and rather or not their is an injury, those "plays" are not plays and have zero place happening on the ice.
If you blow your position because you get caught flat footed...again, you dont get to just start throwing elbows to try and slow them down.

Intent needs to start being penalized as well. Just because a player dodged a flying elbow, doesn’t mean his play wasn’t interrupted with an illegal action.
Leading a hit, if it connects or not, with an elbow should be a minimum 1 game suspension. Learn to body check and position properly.

Hey Steve, when ragging on the leafs marner about his playoff performance, why not include his stats. Say what you will, but these guys are on the ice for more than points. Maybe the juggling act by Keefe and placing 2 2nd line wingers on the first line was an issue. With a new coach perhaps lines will be lines and stop the insane line combos. Leafs problem was Lubushkin and Edmundson being caught multiple times deep in the OZone and the wingers trying to play point. McCabe guilty as weak. Non offensive defenseman behind the opposing net on multiple occasions caught was a big issue no one touched on.
