Thanks very much for this video Nick. Been a bit unwell so haven't been one of the first to watch your videos this week. Excellent and informative as usual. Thanks again mate.
Nice. I can't wait for your videos on the EQ models coming from next year, as there may be new things coming exclusive to them. It will be a while, but those would be great. The EQA, EQE, EQS, EQS SUV, and EQV have all been confirmed to be coming in the future. Right now some of these are prototypes found on the road. Next year some of these will start production, and may have very high battery range respectively. The EQV is already revealed and ready for the market, though.
Can any one tell me when Mercedes will start producing the Class B. Ordered mine in Jan 2020 it’s now Oct 2020 with no date for collection. Very disappointed
Regarding to plug in hybrid , in case of zero charge lithium ion battery for the hybrid , and I select sport drive mode where both combustion engine and electric combined does the electric motor get his power from auxiliary battery ? Or what will happen
It’s quite tricky to run it down to absolute zero, the engine does kick in just above it. It still does have a bit of acceleration but of course won’t be as fast as when it’s fully charged. Going beyond that, I’ve never tried it, I don’t think it will go lower than that to be honest.
Should get my cla 250e next week. I do a 60 mile (30 each way) daily commute to work. What driving mode would you recommend for optimal efficency. The journey is 90% motorway. Thanks and keep the great videos coming!
Ooo very nice! Would love one of those! I would stick with either Electric, Comfort or Eco If you want to maximise your electric driving save that for when you hit traffic! 🤓
@@npoleary thanks Nick I guess I'll just have to try a few options and see which works out best. There are two charging points at work so hopefully I can charge when there then I should easily manage to use electric for both journeys. Thanks again and keep up the great work, Mercedes should give you free loan car for your superb content 😎
@@npoleary Hi Nick got the car last Friday, loving it. Still a bit confused about what driving modes are best for certain situations. The car also seems to auto brake when coming up to corners etc and I'm not sure how to use the paddle shifters for optimal brake regeneration. Have you covered this in a previous video and I've missed it? Also Nick, my car doesn't have the mirror puddle lights and there was no option to spec these. Do u know if they are part of a pack or if they have been removed from the new 2020 builds? Mine was build Sept 2020. Thanks Nick.
Hey Scott, If I’m not mistaken the regenerative braking is automatic in the A-Class. I haven’t driven it for a while to be honest! I’m pretty sure that as you brake it uses regenerative braking before it uses your brakes. And I’m pretty sure the paddle shifters in your car are for changing gear where as in an electric car, they do control the brake regeneration. Regarding the lights for puddles, in the UK specification on Mercedes-Benz cars, it’s usually only found on selected SUV’s so isn’t on all models.
Good morning Nick, thank you for another nicely video, i always look forward to your videos. My 350de is arriving the begging of the first quarter next year and you did quickly mentioned in a pervious video regarding having one charge card with EQ cars which allow us to have the ability to charge our cars any where with one card. can you please do a video on that. thank in advance.
Hi HannahBP, Yes the Mercedes me Charge card, I will do a video on it this year for sure. However just be aware this will not work on all charging stations! Best practice would be to use Zap Map in conjunction with this. Zap Map to show them all but Mercedes me Charge to view the ones which work with that in built system. But I will cover all of this don't worry :)
Hi Ron, There is some talk of this and I was considering doing a post explaining why this is even a thing. But as of September 2020 production at the factory, GLC's in the UK still have Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC and reversing camera. So yes they do for now. But the Parking Assist part could change.
@@npoleary Well you should, because it's not in my new 2020 AMG line GLC 220D that I took delivery of just last month in September. I have the rear camera and surround parking sensors but the car will not self park. Hugely disappointing when my trade in sport had a 360 camera and park assist. Also no option for eelctric tow bar on any GLC AMG. How strange. not even an option. Imagine a SUV 4 wheel drive and no option for a Factory fit tow bar. Has Mercedes Benz Gone nuts?
Nick O'Leary yes - I have the p and camera button on centre console to right of touchpad. I called at dealership and sales could not get it to function. On checking dealerships received an email staying parking assist removed- date of email I think August 2020☹️
@@npoleary Have all the features and on screen camera selection for rear view camera and parking direction lines in yellow, but Car wont park itself or choose if space available. Really odd. It's like the software to do the reversing just is not present.
The EQ AMG line need to solve the steering problems they are very stiff and hard Mercedes need to sort it out it's horrible to drive with their stiff steering this is not Mercedes quality
They’re not my preferred car, but...they are extremely cheap for a city car and for businesses a very cheap model to purchase and then put some advertising on! What’s your favourite?
1 week left till my car arrives. Soo excited. Your videos have literally showed me everything to do with MBUX. Very thankful
Awesome! Thanks Qesar! Glad you like them 👍🏼
Nick well done another great video and whilst not relevant to me at this moment in time still a clear succinct piece of broadcasting
Keep them coming
Thanks Martin! Yeah I hope to get one in the coming years! Of fully electric...who knows 😇

Thank you! Hope you feel better soon and it’s nothing too serious! 😕
@@npoleary I'm fine thank you, wasn't anything serious, just a general bit of cold
That’s good! 😇
Excellent video as always. Mercedes will be approaching you soon to do their official videos.
Haha thanks Richard! That would be the dream! 😎
Well done NIck most informative and to the point, answered all my questions
Awesome! Thanks Alan!

Hi Nick, thanks for another fantastic video. Would be possible for you to post an in depth video re the 2020 GLE AMG Hybrid (de)
Already done a video on that one 🤓

Any chance you can do a video on Mercedes Benz cars and motobility benefits please?
Thanks for the suggestion Jon, I’ll add it to my list for potential future videos!
