Yes, I’m binge watching your videos but I’m trying to get my peyote stitch up to par- I must say, you’ve really mastered it - especially your patterning etc - stunning. It’s such a generous thing for you to make these videos- thank you so much. I have issues with a design fitting whatever it is exactly.
Thank you so much for showing how to do this kind of stitch! Love love this earrings and I hope my will come out as beautiful as your beautiful work ❤️🧡💛 keep the videos coming! Thanks 😊 again!
@@MelissaChilcotinChar Thank you for your response Melissa..im going to start an earring on hoop project soon..i bought all my stuff....and the interface...lol....okay..ill do it bareboned
Melissa i hope you get this because I want to ask a question when you bead these do you make your beading a little looser and not so tight just wondering because if i make it tight it breaks. I was just wondering if they are made with less tension? Another words tension can be an issue if to tight right? I mean I want it nice and stitched but the tension is not to much right?
Hi to know how to do Peyote I watched you videos but I have a question when you first start going it’s lose around the earrings I was wonder do you put anything on it to keep it from slipping or being to lose or do you keep going and it gets stiff and stays in place the more you go and the tighter you pull??
The hoop earrings you're beading on might be thin. But, usually the work will get tighter the further down you bead. I will be posting a video next week on how I bead with thin hoops. Thank you for watching my videos 😊
No, I don't use graph paper for the hoops or the ropes. Once I learned how to peyote stitch. I just thought of designs in my head. If they didn't look good to me, I would back track or start over. So, I figured out my tubular stitch through a lot of trial and error.
@@MelissaChilcotinChar yep lots of trial and errors. I just finished a barrette that is oval shape with appliqué stitching and ripped it out like three maybe four times and when I though I was finished the last four rows where way off from the other side.. So if I ever do something like that I went and ordered a whole bunch of different size oval shape stencils so it will be even on both ends... I am now doing the three drop gourd stitch along with the tubular peyote stitch...
Wonderful tutorials!!! Everything is explained very well and little tidbits added for finding the centers of a circular project. Thank you!!!❤❤❤

I don't put anything between the hoops and Beadwork anymore.

Very nice.. How do you know how many rows you will need for them? Do you draw the design out on peyote graph paper?
