Maybe Apostle of Xavier could work similar to Divine Favour, ie. "Battlecry: gain a mana crystal until you have one more than your opponent. Deathrattle: lose that many mana crystals". Basically the same, but a bit more mechanically consistent.
tess should have some sort of text specifing that she can discover from other classes because right now she can only get maruut, reno lone ranger, and in wild, zeph, and reno jackson

Not to mention double battle cries for your excavates would be insane, as drilly would be the best highlander excavate card since it’s a legendary

Doesn't feel great. Also if both players play it how does it work? The second person to play it just gets to get to 10mana so the meta could easily be to hold that card until the opponent plays it then you get to 10mana and destroy them.
I honestly prefer the submitted Beached Whale from the community rather than the official one. The themeing is way more on point and the card is way less annoying than the real one imo
Forlorn Lovers just seems like one of those toxic cards that should never be in the game. It's probably too slow to be viable, but the fact is that not every deck can deal with it, so if your opponent randomly generates it or something it just feels awful. A better design for the same type of card would be something like 5 mana 3/4 "At the start of each turn, summon the other Forlorn Lover. Deathrattle: Give it +2 health" but you can't fit all that in alongside the clause that there can only be 2 on the board at a time.
