You overlooked the Arabia Steamboat Museum, an incredible 30,000 sqft time capsule of life in the 1850's. It's the remains found in a sunken ship, dug up from the old path of the Missouri River.
Don't forget Kansas City Missouri is actually older than the state of Kansas. Kansas City, Missouri had the name first lol. Just saying that would have been nice for people to know. Great video
I was not aware of this...but it totally makes sense though! Missouri became a state in 1821 and Kansas in 1861, almost 40 years later... WOW! Not that the territory of Kansas wasn't called "Kansas" earlier, BUT Kansas City would have been established a little earlier on. Good point!
So, further into all that, both KC's, The Kaw/Kansas river & the state of Kansas (Arkansas too, but we aren't really talking about them right now) were named for/after/honoring the Kansa Tribe in a matter of chain naming. First was the river, then KCMO named after the river for the trade post destination town it was originally, then state of KS- after the tribe, then KCK after the state of KS and KCMO. Originally "they" wanted both KC's to be a united city- but true to the KS/MO squabble histories we couldn't agree to unify under/in either state so we stayed seperate. Also, KCK was originally made up of smaller villages/burrows that eventually unified into the government of KCK... but most areas still utilize their OG names, ie. Armourdale, Argentine, Quindaro, Turner, Highland Crest, Maple Hill, Strawberry Hill, Bethany, Muncie, Coronado & so on and so forth. Basically we unified our own burrows into one government & flipped the bird to KCMO... because, KANSAS... lol. Also, the need/desire for identity seperation of the KC's is one of the main reasons KCK goes by our county name most of the time. Subsequently that is also named after an indigenous tribe. Just thought I'd share some info... I'll stop now... 😆

Honestly we thought about this one! I've personally been and I was super impressed!!! If we make another video we will have to include this one.
Gotta love KCMO (aka Missouri's largest city) with alot of urban culture, delicious Barbecue, and whole lot of KC Fun.
Yes! There's a LOT to enjoy in KC. Was there over the weekend.... I had the chance to explore The Plaza and was pretty impressed!
Super video. Thanks a lot.
Glad you liked it!
You missed the Plaza, City Market, Westport & anything downtown. Those are prob the most important ones too
Thanks for the heads up! These are some good picks.

3:17 - Perhaps the largest in the midwest but there's no way it's bigger than the Florida amusement park complexes
Just searched up Six Flags Magic Mountain at random and it's 15 acres bigger lol, and I just chose that park at random
Kansas Speedway
Didn't know about this one but it looks fun!!
That's literally in an entirely different state, it's even in the name "Kansas Speedway"...
I don't watch sports
Yay! I found the one other person who doesn't 😂 👋
