Thank you! Fascinating look at the city's History.
Thank you so much for this video.
Calming, entertaining and most importantly informative.
I love it. Definitely going to recommend this to anyone I know.
Even non-Kansas Citians should check this out. 👍🏽💪🏽❤️
Great video thank you 🙏
LIVING MY LIFETIME NEAR WHERE THE TRAILS DIVIDED, I HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN THE TRAILS HISTORY SINCE FIRST GRADE!
THIS IS FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD OF MCCOY!
Good stuff!
Cool vid!
Very interesting. I had no idea. Now I want to go to that park, I must have driven by hundreds of times and never noticed.
I believe he's buried in Union Cemetery.

Refer to Mr. Illman book.
Why is the photo of the trading post you said was in Kansas City actually in a setting with *mountains* in the background?? Last I heard there are *zero* mountains in Kansas City. C’mon now, be factual in your presentation!
Thank you for your feedback. Please know that these mini documentaries are made by high school students and sometimes the last-minute editing process doesn't allow teachers time to make additional changes!
I think its more representative of what one would see, not necessarily the actual structure or location.
ACTUALLY THERE WAS QUITE A BLUFF BETWEEN DOWNTOWN KCMO AND THE MISSOURI RIVER!
IT HAS BEEN CUT DOWN QUITE A BIT FROM ORIGINAL, TO PROVIDE FOR BUSINESSES NEAR THE RIVER!!
WHEN I-70 WAS BUILT OVER THE OLD 6 TH STREET AREA, MUCH OF THE REMAINING BLUFFS DISAPPEARED!!
@@rossbryan6102why are you yelling!?
