One thing I’ve learned watching these is that you seem to have to bring a weapon to the pitch and use it to get a red card 😂
The first two were definitely red. Then I lost count of the peelback hits. Maybe an amputation would warrant a red card... Two feets studs up, on plant foot, from behind? Warning first. The girls fouls were downright brutal, I think a few of them were wearing the numbers of their favorite linebackers from football.
The ref’s are terrified of giving red cards 😂
I play old-timer league in Ontario and I can guarantee you if they would give red cards like they should, they would have to cancel the season halfway through because most teams would have too many suspended players.
Soccer in Canada is different :D

I've been tackled from behind with pure intent to injure multiple times and sometimes not even seen a card.
It depends a bit on the league as well, but for some reason Ontario is notorious for the somewhat "soft" officiating.
how they tried to justify a two footed tackle is not a foul is beyond me...
And there better be almost no force for it NOT to be a send-off (red)

What amazes me the most isnt the lack of red cards, but the fact these fauls dont end up in brawls or stronger discussions. Ive seen some messy fights over a lot less.
It’s because it’s soccer in the US. If this was British Sunday league football it would be a different story

It is sad to see that a lot of these players do not know how to play defense.
This and how many refs give yellows for fouls that should obviously be a red.

What do you mean? Their defensive ability is impeccable. A simple two footed dropkick to the chest, no card AND the attack is stopped. Perfect.
It also doesn’t help that all of these are filmed in north america
I think that what happened at 8:00 is that the players are so used to erroneous offside calls against attackers that they couldn't handle it when the no call was correctly made.
Yeah, the defense was so lazy going for the ball that it was easy for him to slip in and score.
You should rename this to its proper title "I'm a referee and don't know what a red card is and most likely don't call the fouls that control the game properly before emotions get out of control... Oh now people know they can hurt each other and never see a red, so they do". Maybe a little long, but not a bad working title 👍

That referee really doesn't know how to give red cards, I have seen multiple faults slide by that deserved dark red and he only ends up giving yellow.

What's more entertaining than the fouls are the "explanations" afterwards...like "Nooo, I didn't roundhouse backfist him!! I put my arm out to show him how much time we had on my wrist watch and his face slammed into my fist..." Too funny.
Ngl watching this cheers me up lol. It was a pretty shit first season for me in my soccer league and this cheered me up a bit.

I'm a keeper and I 100% agree, it was just his momentum than carried him under the keeper, definitely no malice intended.
Watching these back in slow-mo reveals the true nature of peoples actions. You can so clearly see when there's malicious intent

We have a simple rule in our kids league:
Any misbehaviour by parents or coaches results in a yellow card for a random kid on the team. Works like magic.

Like how in some of these clips dudes are getting absolutely destroyed by some tackles and their teammates first reaction is to ask ref for a card. Your man’s leg got rocked and you are worried about a card? Check on your teammate. Hahah

Another thing is when you give a red card there's ALOT of paperwork that's involved... thus the reluctance to give reds willy nilly. Especially if it's not League 1 or CPL.

Dude deserves to be roughed up trying to punch a ball only 6 feet off the ground. It was a foul, but you have to hit it earlier or you're going to get smacked.

@@PRGRAMMING not really. You cannot just jump for ball and fall on somebody to claim a foul. Here the keeper caught the ball and striker went under him, then keeper got off balance on the way down. It happens, definitely not a yellow (no intent from striker, not malicious, just ordinary foul).
The green keeper comes from the other end of the field to have a tantrum about not taking a penalty. Are we sure he belongs to the bumblebee strip team.
I think soccer needs to start using hockey fights to settle things. Every person on here who is playing dirty is because they are not a good player without playing dirty

@@mats7492 in lower leagues, amateur leagues, refs are not empowered or supported enough by officials running the competition and harassed by players and spectators. They are afraid.
