Me, being my dads personal assistant as well as taking care of all administration for his businesses. 😅 Glad to finally know that there is a title for what I do.
there is no different between a PA and EA, they do the same thing. It is just the title that differ, they are all accountable to the head of the office or equivalent.
what if you start as a PA and they say they eventually want to add EA duties? do i ask for a raise? even if they already seemed apprehensive of what theyre giving me as a PA? (this is for a person who owns their company but its small and i dont go in office)
Have you ever worked for a company that said you were an EA but expected you to do PA tasks (personal appointments, family vacations, vacation planning etc..) because it was "part of your job"? Do you have any tips on how to respond?
This isn't unusual and it depends on a few things: 1. Was this discussed as being part of your job? 2. Do you have capacity to take it on? If it really is part of the job and you don't want to do it then you need to consider leaving for a strictly EA role that requires no PA. If it is gradually creeping in then you need to have a conversation with your boss.
@@EAHowTo thank you . I appreciate your advice. Love your channel! Ps. I discussed with my boss on multiple occasions and ultimately left the position.
I do everything listed for all roles for a non profit my title executive assistant. I don’t like or want COS title. That title means something entirely different in the organizations I have been associated to in my career.
Hello, I want to know whether the skill of shorthand is still used in Australia for job roles like : personal secretaries, assistants, legal or medical transcriptionists, journalists, etc.
Mam i need a job desperately..i think I would fit better into executive assistant..but as I do not have experience iam not getting any job.iam in a circle full of debts..in the verge of suicide...don't know what to do..jobless..i don't know whether saying all this here is right or wrong..but I wanted to tell someone...
I'm very sorry to hear you're experiencing this. You need to speak to a medical professional asap. They are in a position to help you. Regarding your job search, taking any job is better than waiting for the right EA job. That can happen over time. In the meantime, your immediate needs are more important. Please speak to those around you right away and book an appointment to speak to your doctor.

@@aniani5541 Have you tried receptionist or admin assistant jobs? I feel like EA is a more senior role, so you might want to start at the bottom. It doesn't pay as well but I'm confident you'll get there!
