Urgent Question: Im buying this package now, but when im reserving it, it says 3am. I think that is so romantic and amazing timing. But in the description, it says 9am-9pm. im very confused, and I really need your opinion on it. Also, are you able to leave the area for an hour and then come back to your reserve hud?! ( If i wanted to go to the main dining, pick up my food [because i have a clasic package] and bring it back up there, could I ?)
Hello, it is not 9am to 9pm. It says that on their website, but not accurate. I think it’s really around 10am to 5pm. You can leave and go as you please. You can order off room service menu. Unfortunate, it’s not open after 5pm…..so not as romantic as they portray. Your waiter can get you drinks or food and bring to you.
You can. The hours open are incorrect. I believe it was more like 10am to 5pm.

Question: We stayed in Alcoves during December 2023 cruise. Start time was 9:00am but told to leave by 5:00pm. Looking to book again on upcoming cruise in September 2024 (with a 20% price increase). Online says rental is now 9:00 am - 9:00pm. Hmmm. Which is it? Cannot get straight answer despite several telephone calls to Celebrity. What was your experience with length of stay?
We thought that as well, but they told us 5pm (server). We had plenty of drinks and food and were ready by 5pm. I have to say though, late in evening with Sun going down would’ve been nice. I bet it is because of restaurant reason for 5p cutoff now.

@@luvysfatlife Actually, I just learned the reason -- it is because staff is shifted away to other onboard duties, They must tidy up by 6:00 or else Celebrity cannot re-sell the Alcove for next day. Yeah, it's always the money. We would love to gaze out at the stars after dinner, but.....Celebrity has other fish to fry.
So glad you shared this!! I never knew about the “Alcove” area but I usually sail Carnival. If I was on a cruise line that offers the Alcove, I would consider giving it a try on Port days, price not too bad. I’m thinking their room service food menu wasn’t an extra charge either? 🛳️🛳️
They do charge you for room service in room, but it’s cheaper than Carnival. The fruit, cheese,burger , and chicken strips were included in rental fee of alcove. Thank you for watching.

Did you say there were 6 of you in it? Comfortable for 6? No hassle from anyone?
Four would be comfortable. I think they state 4 is limit. We had friends visiting

Where? This area is very laid back. I’d probably guess no bathing suits?
@@luvysfatlife yeah I’m sailing on them in December and when I look at the reservation, it says you can’t wear bathing suits cover-up or shorts.
