Nursing home at sea? sounds like my type of cruise. I'm in my 30's but I'd rather have a nice chill vacation hanging out with the elderly than deal with the raucous drunk spring break crowd. Thanks for another great vlog.
I have taken one Celebrity cruise, and I have booked 2 more this summer. My husband loves Celebrity, while I love Royal! Yes, Celebrity is majority older people, and you will be moving to the side a lot for scooters, and the vibe and the music are older. I did feel out of place at times, but I simply ignored it, and reminded myself I am on vacation! Even the food was just ok to me, I love Royal dinning room food. We enjoyed the peace, really no kids, no chair hogging and the overall relaxed vibe, this is why we are going again. Like I said, I love Royal, but just know what to expect with Celebrity.
My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon on the Solstice in 2010 and we loved it. After that the Eclipse 2011, Reflection 2012, Solstice and Silhouette in 2015. Apex last year and next month on the Reflection. We prefer nice and quiet cruise ship like the Solstice class. The elders always sharing their cruises experience with us. Yes this is my type of cruise.

I like the idea of a breakfast dress. I do normally wear something different for breakfast too, but one outfut👍🏾 We've never cruised Celebrity b4 I'll have to put on my list of new cruise lines to try. Thanks for sharing ✌🏾 😊

My wife and I were on the Reflection the same week as the two of you. I have to admit we enjoyed our experience a bit better than you. I do agree it was an older crowd with very few children but was a really chill, relaxed cruise which I enjoy. Keep the content coming!
I loved when that we didn’t make it to Scotland and went back to Dublin and got to get off and on the ship as much as we liked to explore the city and got to stay on the ship as our hotel in Dublin
We just did a cruise from Puerto Rico around the West Indies in the Caribbean on The Norwegian Viva that was a niceeee ship the speedway on deck 17 was amazing!!!

I’ve taken one Celebrity cruise. You will be well rested it is a calm and quiet cruise. Food was decent nothing bad to say about it. It was just too slow for me.
They sure were partying like a nursing home at sea. Lol! I'm in my 50's and looking to plan my solo cruise/treat to myself next year when I get my baby off to college. And after spending years cruising Disney and Royal I'm looking for a nursing home at sea. I just want to eat sleep and mediate.

Royal’s Adventure of the Sea was definitely a senior citizen facility. I will not be returning with them anytime soon. Maybe just Maybe the Icon of the Seas

I took my first Celebrity cruise in April on the Celebrity Beyond. I called the solarium area the geriatric area. There wew a lot of Seniors onboard. I'd say average age of 80. I was fine with that though.

We did this ship before Covid in 2019 from Dublin Ireland to Iceland back to Dublin for a few extra days because we couldn’t go to Scotland
I loved when that we didn’t make it to Scotland and went back to Dublin and got to get off and on the ship as much as we liked to explore the city and got to stay on the ship as our hotel in Dublin
