@@sameerpatil9453 its a battery problem even if your chargers fine it just means that you battery is completely fried so especially if you have a cheap pc, I just got a new one which is a bit more expensive

My PC has a mind of it's own....I did everything on your video (which are all correct).....but I can't seem to train my PC to not sleep after 3 minutes of inactivity...beats me....!! NOTE: I didn't have this problem it seems until Windows 10 decided to update last week....
For some reason that I don't understand....my PC began working according to my SLEEP setups and stopped going to sleep by itself...So I am OK now......BUT...before it "fixed" itself'...I ran a long movie (sound off) on UTube (on another tab/page)...that worked...
This is new: Open Device Manager......open each item...if this item has a power Management folder.... open it....and "untick" anything that is ticked....That's it......You may have to repeat this sometimes, when you get Windows updates downloaded....Let me know if this worked for you...LiKE ME....

Great video but you missed quite an importan setting in advanced power settings. There is another drop down called "sleep" where you can change sleep and hibernate settings!
Windows 10 here. I have my sleep set to go to sleep after 15 minutes when plugged in. HOWEVER, my screen will go black if I do not touch anything in ~5 minutes. Anyone know what is going on?

YOU STILL CANT GET IT TO STOP? 1. go back to "power and sleep" 2. Click "Additional power settings" 3. click "Power saver" 4. Click "change plan settings" 5. set both to "never" This is not the exact same thing as he showed in the video, this worked on my windows 10 computer immediately.

so my laptop keeps shutting down each day once, while i'm watching RUclips. it doesn't completely shut down, like... often google says something would be wrong with the data, then the monitor would turn black, and sometimes i'd see my mouse flickering, unable to leave that weird thing. once it even showed some red, green, and blue flickering little box, and my headphones would make a really weird noise. i was a little scared (since I've played some horror games, and the laptop still belongs to my father). three to four times it would say i'd need a update. my father told me to hold the power button, and then activate again, it said i needed to log my account back in, else files might get lost, so i did. today it happened again(black screen, but nothing from google) and i was so annoyed, i put the laptop on stand by (by closing it) and waited some time. then i'd have some trouble with the programs, like, the task bar would disappear, I'd need to open google again and press "Restore page". if you could help me in any way, even telling me to visit the store where my dad got it from, i'd really appreciate it. thank you and i'll keep you updated if something new happens, or if you have any questions!

If still doesn't work : -> in the search tab write : control panel ->Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power options Then go to Change plan settings Choose for all four Go to change advanced power settings YOU WILL SEE : Turn off hard disk after : On battery(Minutes) (change it to 0). Plugged in (change it to 0) Apply You are done :)

There is currently a bug with Windows 10, you can change your power settings for the Display "Turn off display after" timer to Never, but when you restart your computer the settings will reset. Deleting the reg key {8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7} also does not fix the issue or remove the Display setting. after your restart your computer, the turn off display setting reverts back to 15 minutes. I've no idea how to fix this.

Even though I turn power saving modes to never it still does the same thing. Starts up normally, loads in and than 5-10min later my monitor enters power saving mode but my computer stays on, any help please...?

In the advanced settings did you set hard disk settings to 0?
