I’m driving turbo DCT with 225/40 R18 P4 tires uphill with wet road. Traction always slip every time I accelerate after corners. Is it because of wet road or tires could not coup with road condition?
Traction in the wet is always lower than in the dry. You have to ease the power so as not to break traction. For FWD cars, going uphill is always disadvantageous because of the front lift on acceleration.
The FD is a good base car for setting up, and with the right stuff, it can handle very well. The FC/FK arrangement is better if compared to thr standard FC.

For family is good, sticking a red batch with type r bodykit is even better, i can feel the hp increase and pick up better
Hai uncle, i want to know your opinion..after you try honda civic fc and honda civic fd,which one you prefer or you think more good in handling...tq
The FD is a good base car for setting up, and with the right stuff, it can handle very well. The FC/FK arrangement is better if compared to thr standard FC.
@@YSKhongDriving thank you very much uncle, now I feel very relieved and I already know which one I should choose. uncle's comments are very helpful, may uncle live long and be given wealth
I have one myself in my garage, uncle. Glad we have same impression on driving experience :)
Good skill too. Be safe!
Ys seem to enjoy this drive more than the m4 which seem to have engine splutter?
Every car is different.
Civic 2020 vs Mazda 3 2020........based your personal preference.....which one will you pick? For driving sensation....
Depends on whether you want an auto or a cvt. Both are good cars.
@@YSKhongDriving my bet still on mazda 3 after watching your all driving video for both cars..... mazda edge civic a little bit......
Hi Uncle Khong! between Civic and Toyota's Corolla TNGA platform, which would handle better?
If you do not have TNGA, it is also possible to get good handling. Just go firmer on the shocks and springing.
I’m driving civic TC 2018, I test drove corolla 2020 yesterday. Despite more features on the new corolla, I still think civic is a better ride. The corolla is more bumpy, it’s feel more noisy. Overall, I still think civic is a better ride
Uncle YS, have you got chance to turn off Eco mode? Will it hold the gear in D mode?
Sorry, this video was done a year ago; I forgot to turn off ECo mode. It hold gear if you power it.
YS Khong Driving I am very confused with this car. If turning off eco hold gear then why we need S mode or vice versa? It’s this redundant?
S mode holds the gears longer, allowing change up at higher rpm. Eco mode makes gear changes early. But if you floor the accelerator, everything goes to S mode anyway.
Glad to watch this video! I am doing some survey and considering on Civic TCP with Toyota Artis. Could uncle comment on the handling, power and comfort level in between this two cars?
The Corolla would be the more comfortable car. The Civic would have more power. Both cars handle very well. Both are around the same size.
YS Khong Driving Thanks a lot!
