Alantino I don’t take economics, but I have to agree! I’m loving learning all this stuff from his videos, because he can engage with the audience in a way that is not too mainstream and tedious nor too overwhelming when it comes to excitement levels about what is being taught. I’m an introvert with a difficulty in focusing at times (especially, if the topic does not interest me or the person teaching the topic in question is awfully tedious and takes their time at it, or speaks in a very dull way)... There are some people who have degrees but have no brains and some who have no degrees but a large brain. EDIT: also, I think there is that psychological factor for people in general, thinking of school or work as a chore to do. I’m enjoying my degree but I have lecturers who are not really engaging or just can’t captivate the audience for some reason. Also, you feel overwhelmed and stressed at school because you’re doing it for the sake of passing with good grades, obtaining a GPA, etc. so you lose all that likability for ‘learning’ in a way and resort to do the bare minimum at a certain point in time, because you cant handle it anymore and don’t feel like you’re even living but just ‘surviving’. When there isn’t any pressure and you’re just learning something for the sake of learning, I feel like you retain the information for far longer time than studying for an exam or something because the exams just test your memorizing capabilities, your memory in question not whether you aced the contents or not. And most areas of study are constantly changing its knowledge (save perhaps for areas like history for example, in some cases, or literature - you add new dates or new literary pieces and correct some things here and there that weren’t as clear after finding new info).

I'm an introvert and the seventh point is something almost unconscious. Multiple times I'd talk to other people about something and would end up finding out no one else had seen it. But I also have lost a lot of opportunities for not being seen. It's good to be an introvert if you are the leader, but not so good if you aren't. Most of the times, we will find ourselves doing all the work alone and not being recognized for it, while the others are applauded on every single thing they do, receiving bonuses and raises. It took a while, but I learned that to be successful as an employee, you must know how to show your value to people who matter. And this is a very difficult thing for an introvert to do.
This, I feel like I get shoved to the back corner and given all the shit shifts and jobs nowadays, when you have good leaders who notice you, things are good, when you have bad ones, you just end up doing junk because you don't get many opportunities to shine (I think they fear you'll take their job). I wish I had taken a management position the last time it came up (my work fired and rehired alot of people for less money, I had a chance before that, but the person who offered it to me was a dick to me and would have been my boss, it would have been hell for me). When this Corona Virus crap is over, I'm going to try and jump ship to another department (when they start it up again, they'll need staff for it).
I'm an introvert but two things I've always done is advocate for myself and ask for raises; that over preparing comes in handy then. I may have lucked out having bosses who recognize my value over all the busy work co-workers do. I'm glad to say I'm at the point he's talking about where I develop other people and that gets noticed as well.
Yep. Being an enlisted man in the trenches doesn't help as an introvert. We gotta learn now to sneak talk and be extroverted-introverts. Introverts are talkative as shit if it's a topic we like. But most people don't like our intellectual conversations and we HATE small talk. However people I find are more open to listening to what you're interested in if you show interest in theirs
O'SSÉIN - Master Your Mind With Me I agree... most people it would be hard to cut off things like partying and stuff but as an interest it isn’t AS hard

This is so true! It can be very discouraging when we feel we are being overlooked.
True
Spot on!
Big up to all the introverts
Because it takes great sacrifices to become successful - it falls naturally for introverted people to cut off all distractions and focus on the goal
O'SSÉIN - Master Your Mind With Me I agree... most people it would be hard to cut off things like partying and stuff but as an interest it isn’t AS hard
Good analogy !
Excellent, Excellent video!
I’m a introvert and I hate ego’s
Don't rub it off, yes they are creative!!!
Great content! Now time is to wake up and start working! Thank you Pat!

Hey, thank you for the accolades 😆👍
Nice video, I agree with this💯

I'm an introvert and I approve of this message about introverts 100%. A book you can read on this topic for those that are interested is "Quiet" by Susan Cain
Someone asked Buddha “ what you learned in life?”
He said “ patience” ...
Introverts are good at patience too
I don't normally comment on youtube (because they're actually kinda distracting - pulling attention away from the video).
But Thank You for this video Pat :)
I think this video represents me accurately.
"Overly prepared"- You've nailed it! Precisely depicts introvertic inner self-talk and thinking/worst case-scenario planning process. ;-)
when your smart and ambitious your automatically introvert cuz nobody have that same drive lol
You nailed it, and as an introvert I can say that these all apply, especially #7 & #9. When we get in our groove, it’s powerful, very powerful. Take care!
So this video is for me... thank u so much
Described to the t! Good stuff

Who spotted the change at 4:04? Introverts or Extroverts? Like if you're an introvert, comment if you're an extrovert.
U r value... Thank u Thank u!!
Just to remind other extroverts here, *you don't have to be an introvert to have these qualities.*
You just have to be more well-rounded and developed in yourself.
This is the same for introverts. They can also learn to develop the beneficial skills that extroverts have naturally. It takes some effort, but being more versatile is always a good thing in business.
Thank you Pat
