    Why do you soak rice before cooking?

    • @thekitchenmuse
      @thekitchenmuse  3 года назад +14

      Rather than parboil first, I do that instead to get rid of some starch

    • @thelastArmy6453
      @thelastArmy6453 2 года назад

      It's basmatic Rice it doesn't really need perboiling so it won't be so soft and mulchy, except it's a normal Rice then u can perboile, they also soak the rice to get rid of some starch too

      I think scent leave is better, it gives it that unique taste@nancyblaq3940

    Really nice video it helped alot but y not use d normal names for the ingredients like for the habanero pepper
    I sent this video to a friend and she was asking me alot of questions like the names so next time I think u should use both the usual name and the other names you know something like that
    Anyways really nice video 👌
