Very cool guys, excellent job. Next time try lightweight spackling mixed 50/50 with Mod Pudge. They always color match perfectly. I had a weird red on my Extreme Flight Slick 580 EXP V2, and they color matched the broken wheel pants perfectly. Subscribed & Liked.
We will have to try that, I'm realizing that we used heavy weight spackling, but could have used something lighter. How much did you like your Extreme Flight slick 580, and have you had any other EF airframes? Thanks for the comment!
Not bad but,,,,, first use the light weight spackle, you can get it from Sherwin Williams (green label). Lighter, works much better, can be thinned too..
Cheap handheld steam cleaner hands down best way to fix foam!!!... steam pulls the dents wrinkles out right before your eyes just be careful around plastic and decals fingertips... because they can melt and deform
@@4BrothersRCit definitely does that. But you can sort of ‘iron’ that flat with a hot teaspoon and stroke the bubbles flatter. It works on dents bigger than your damage better than just filler. Best result: first steaming and then what you guys did. Safe travels!
Really good job guys, looks really good!
This makes me smile. Great job boys!
Thanks! We’re glad you enjoyed it!👍
Nice work! Not sure how much it saves but I use DAP Fast N Final as it's like 1/3 as dense so it adds minimal weight.
Thanks! We will have to look into that filler as another option. Saving weight is always a bonus!

We’ve seen that before, but we’re concerned it would alligator the foam and make it bubble up. In your experience has it done anything like that?
