PDLS+ in the USA still only offers mild steering, as other manufacturers offered for over 30 years. Also auto hi/lo beam as most manufacturers have offered since the 60s. All features that utilize the matrix are disabled for USA, and are unlikely to ever be activated in the future.

Are those HD Matrix headlights (on the white and the gray car) tinted?
The White one has the Matrix HD Blacked out option.
Derek the only difference between the regular and tinted hd lights is the tinting. Do They function the same way?
There are 4 PODs in the HD Matrix headlight with the option to have them in gloss black, the lower units are for digital cornering lights. The HD lights also have welcome light animation.
Is there a factory stop sale on 2024 cayenne until some software update?
Yes, still not sure on the timing for the updated fix. 😕
Are the standard headlights equiped with the cornering?

@@DerekBonzagni I own Macan 2022, and the cornering is very active. 2 weeks ago I ordered a new Cayenne with the standard headlights. Before I made the order I did test drive 2 Cayennes, after dark, one with the matrix HD and one with the standard headlights. I didn’t notice any difference, really (but the animation). I also didn’t notice any cornering in both Cayennes (it has to be very subtle 🙂). In my Macan, the cornering is so obvious.
@@andrzejt4415 The animation, auto high beam (2023 and under Cayennes), more LEDs in a larger projector, and the look of the Matrix light make it popular. If you don't need those options the standard headlight is still very good. The Macan with PDLS (active) is a great headlight, no matrix on the Macan yet , 2025 likely

Anyone know how to activate full HD matrix in US?
Only through Porsches computer systems from what I understand. I haven't seen software that will activate them in the open market
Is there still a difference between the US and European versions of the HD lights?
Yes our DOT regulations don't allow for the full Matrix components to all work. The cornering, light movement and automatic high beams all work. The special lane lighting, highlight options are disabled in the USA. Frustrating but they are working on it I'm told.
@@DerekBonzagni Thanks for the response. I've ordered a '24 Cayenne and I ordered it with the HD lights. Should be here by the end of the month. I read somewhere where the lights couldn't be upgraded by a software update. Do you have any knowledge if that is true, or if there will be an ultimate fix somehow?

Do you mean the stop sale for the hazard lights? I agree. I know it’s priority one at headquarters.
