And this is why you Sir, are a great sales rep. Seriously, Porsche should be giving you a raise lol. Appreciate the honesty, passion, and good points mentioned, which I clearly missed to comment. It is frustrating thats all.
The new Cayenne certainly has a good drive feel, and the design trumps the X5 and GLE. Additional air suspension and real axel steering is amazing too.
I must say the headlights are quite off putting though. A simple production fix of that detail would uphold the prestige of the brand’s quality. Just looks kind of cheap.. I noticed this with some other new cars in the dealership too. The dust is quite noticeable when the lights are on.
It’s not the money (costs almost double here compared to the US). But if customers are paying this much, you expect a little more professionalism, which should have trickled down from the top especially concerning the software. What I have learnt this time is that it’s not just about the car, but the Rep you are purchasing from.
Anyhow enough said as I don’t want my case to sound like I am trolling. Im just hoping my experience with Porsche will improve over the next few years.

@@YT97898 Thank you, and I also hope your experience in the future will change. I agree with your points and I have noticed Porsche is listening to their customers. Improvements every year and more standard equipment in the 25 Cayenne. We are about to get a new Gen 5 store here and there is lots of enhancements coming down the line. Stay tuned..

It's not a review when you don't drive the car. But the title of his video is correct.

After owning a BMW, then Mercedes, I bought a 2024 Porsche Cayenne. What I found was the previous two brands had:
    1. Better customer service (not trying to troll you here, as you seem to be genuinely good sales rep).
    2. Way better tech (my Porsche has bugs or error messages almost daily).
    3. Better visibility in the rain and better window wipers.
    4. More free gifts from dealers
    5. Better gas mileage
    6. Better long drive seat comfiness (subjective)
    7. Crystal clean headlights (my new Porsche has dusty headlights that cant be wiped or polished because the dust is on the inner side). VERY frustrating because it should a simple fix… and also considering the amount you pay!
    8. And worst: we paid for a tech option (ALKA) that was not installed when delivered. It was finally installed after a year, but with no formal dealer apology or even small gift to compensate.
I understand Porsche dont mass-produce like the other two, but honestly, very disappointed. I sadly wouldn’t recommend to any one at this point.
Don’t judge me as a hater please - because I actually own one!… And I do wish Porsche can improve on these areas.

No judgement here, I came from BMW world, and agree they offer lots of tech, and performance for the buck. BMW and Mercedes is great at being first in line with technology that takes Porsche a few years to adapt. The difference between the brands reminds me of when I left Samsung and went to apple. My Samsung had more tech, settings, and toys compared to any i-phone, however I found the reliability, user interface, and build quality was better overall on the apple. I also found some exclusive options I enjoyed like apple pay, I-message, etc. Porsche does a great job of being exclusive, and consistently ranking top in JD power's customers survey's which means happy customers. Our customers like the have exclusive options like 4 wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, the new passenger screen, a simple touch screen interface with easy controls, non run flat tires, and tons of personalization options to configure on their new Porsche. I understand not every dealer is going to meet the needs of every client, some are more comfortable with specific wants/needs. It sounds like you got one of the first early production 2024's which had some software and delays on specific options which makes sense. The customer feedback, and even car and driver ranks us #1 in the market, but sometimes there is a bad experience from time to time. I personally love the ride in the Cayenne along with the simple interface, the air suspension makes a huge difference in ride feel, and we do have some bragging rights when it comes to the new Hybrids with 50 miles of range, and the Nurburg king Cayenne Turbo GT. If you're looking for more incentives BMW/Mercedes will certainly do that. The Porsche lifestyle is expensive, and certainly doesn't apologize for it. Our customers want the resale, reputation and exclusivity which mainstream doesn't offer. BMW / Mercedes make great products, and some customers simply like features or see a greater value in their products which is understandable. Thank you for the feedback, I'm sorry the Porsche Cayenne didn't fit your needs. Thanks for watching.
