Thank you for the update. I really like your landscape images. I will enjoy following your projects here on youtube. Thanks for sharing and for your effort you put in these videos.
Dave, great to see you back! Love the landscapes you showed. Being a long time NM resident, I have been tot he Bisti and Chaco numerous times as well. Both are spectacular at night. Making progress on my observatory. Got a SkyAlert installed and running some automation tests. Cheers, Bob
Welcome back! I've been busy with work, cursed with clouds, and also trying to build my 8 inch Meade LX200 rig for imaging before galaxy season is over! I'm hoping to start on my obsy this year, also!
Yea, I think building the obsy will allow me to do multiple objects, and it finally completes my dream of total automation. Now if I could only figure out how to automate PixInsight, LOL!!!
Good to see you are able to get back to making videos (although I see it's only been 2 months so my memory just extends that far back to remember you 🤣). Having an obsy will make a huge difference to your imaging time (it certainly did for me). Having gone the one pier route in my obsy, I would say definitely go the 2 pier route, even if one is a smaller and one could be a strainwave so no counterweight bar in the way. The difference in build between one and two pier size I think won't be greatly different but will make a big difference to how many targets you can image. Wow, those landscape images were fantastic - when is the landscape photography channel starting up?
Logan, I have a Landscape photography channel, but alas, I haven't put out any videos on the channel since the pandemic, but I am going to begin ramping that one back up this summer. CS!
I am sorry, hope things are getting better for you. I was wondering what happened as I haven't seen anything from you in some time. But no rush, hope things get better! CS!
I remember this Guy, he's a Kind, Bubbly Man who has an Awesome RC that I drooled over.....LOL...Glad your back Dave.... I do Landscape, and Wildlife Photography also Dave, great Compositions by the way.....I really enjoy my Landscape Photography, almost too much...LOL....I've noticed I have been gravitating to more Night Landscape lately in Astro, because I am teaching Private Landscape Photography classes on Sunday Nights....LOL...Its a Good Gig....I meet some really cool People, that have the Photography Bug....Made lots of Contacts....We should go out sometime in the Fall when it cools down.....Clear Skies Dave....

Bob, Bisti is really a unique place, I have been all over the west taking landscapes, and it takes the cake for the most unique!
Welcome back Dave! can't wait to see the OBSY build
Yea, I am still figuring out the design, that will be a video on it's own I think. We shall see. I will begin that build in July. I can't wait!

I feel you man I haven't made a video in like 8 months. Between family medical emergencies and work I've been worn out and burned out.
I am sorry, hope things are getting better for you. I was wondering what happened as I haven't seen anything from you in some time. But no rush, hope things get better! CS!
Howdy!
