I really like Mikey's videos. Whilst it might sound odd, I actually like to see some of the things going wrong - quiet spells, lost fish, broken hooklengths, getting snagged, getting the run around, missing the keepnet with a fish, etc. Some anglers edit this stuff out, but it often gives the impression they're bagging from the start and everything is smooth and perfect, which is unobtainable for other match anglers and can mess with your head. Watching this, you can get a bit of hope that everyone might be struggling at some period in the match, and there is always time to turn it around, and you don't have to be smashing it from the opening whistle...

Hello Mike, great recovery from the last part of the match, just goes to show how difficult these pegs can be, every peg is different & so close at the end with your worm line down the edge.

Mikey you in one of your videos showed I believe kaizen hooks with a band.
My problem is that I tried doing one this morning and I couldn't get the line through the second time after the whipping.
It was 0.17 is that to thick?

If you get a little fine needle and push it through the eye it will help pass the line through the eye mate
