Oh, I loved it as it was very interesting. I mean the previous weekend I saw transformers one that was good though, but the robot I feel like it is like when a film does something like new and innovative as one is for the last 40 years well this one is based off of a reason I actually saw my little target. Yeah it actually follows the book really well like down to a T as in like when Ross gets activated while she reverses through the woodlands and all that yeah it heavily is like doing it by seeing when you read the novel that’s on by Peter Brown really good novel by the way I recommend the novel, for additional context.
@@brandonespinoza9279 Interesting! I never read the Wild Robot book, I should do that! I didn't realize it was such a faithful adaptation. And I actually did see Transformers One also the other week, that was surprisingly good lol
@@noahthe0tter Indeed, as if it’s a film that has animals in some capacity I will watch it regardless of the age, whether it’s for kids and/or for adults, respectively.
This was a film I did keep an eye out on as I originally thought it was going to be Iron Giant, but woodland creatures. While there's still elements of that in the film, it's not what I was truly anticipating from what I've seen here in this review. More than likely is still a good flick to watch, but the hype has gone down on it for me. Key factor is still true here though, Dreamworks will nail a film in all fields, then the next releases from them are just either below-par or "what the hell was that?" territory. All eyes are clearly on the Shrek remake/reboot (whatever it is), but as for trying new IP; glad this got a chance to exist.
DreamWorks is definitely a strange beast with how up and down their quality is 😂 I do think this is good, but definitely not Iron Giant levels of quality
I hope that THE WILD ROBOT wins Best Animated Feature at the Oscars! I think it could also be nominated for Best Picture (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, UP and TOY STORY 3 were nominated for Best Picture, so THE WILD ROBOT has a chance)!
I actually really liked the baby opossums jokes. I thought it was funny every time. Though, I am a little biased toward opossums. 😅 I agree on the pacing though, it took a bit to really pick up. Possibly my favorite new movie I’ve seen this year though. It was gorgeous, and I was crying off and on for like the last 20 minutes of it.
Have you seen the Wild Robot yet? 🤔If so, what did you think? Lemme know down below 👇🏻

Honestly same! I always have been an animal lover. The animals in the Wild Robot were gorgeously animated, imo!
The Wild Robot is a big win for DreamWorks!
It sure is! I hope Dreamworks keeps making movies like this!
I don't get why people are like, "Dreamworks is dying" when they release something as beautiful looking as this
A new Dreamworks movie that wasn't Trolls? What the hell's goin on here!?
Ikr lol

Yeah, Dreamworks has a very shaky track record, unfortunately!
