Absolute, the 280 AIOs in the video are very comparable since the Kraken Z63 is a top of the line AIO that cools better then some reliable 360 AIOs out there. The H150i died today, less than a month in, and now i have an unusable $2600 pc until corsair responds to me😭
Why?
Hey why the galahad trinity 2 performance is not on the
list?
Honestly you can fart on the 7800x3d every few days to keep it cool.
Believe it or not, any tower cooler will get you out of hot water if you run it undervolted and dont run loads like cinebench. At least until you get a decent cooler for it.
Ive used a Prism cooler for mine and had max gaming temps of 73°
I'm trying to undervolt it but keep crashing. Blue screen and freeze... you got a guide?
@@metforminaddict2947 I just use PBO, curve optimiser at negative 20, and put PBO limits to disabled
Sure, this is more a ‘how to be safe’ guide than ‘what you need to gaming’
deepcool ak620 not on the list? i was planning to get it soon
I can't find this Arctic Freezer 51, did you mistake it for freezer 50 by any chance ?
It is in the high green😊
would the frozen warframe 360 from thermalright good for 7800x3d or nah?
3:25 of talking before getting into the results seems a bit long and excessive. Would recommend making it a bit shorter in general
I just ordered the IS-55
Never tested, but sure! Hope it does fine
Would the ak400 be enough for a 7800x3d? Thanks!
Every list should contain a Cooler Master 212. I habe no clue why it wasn't tested here.
Do you still have the NH-P1 ? I don't see it in your graph ! I think it will be on the lower part, but i'm curious if it's on the orange or red part. I'm considering trying it, but I don't have neither the CPU or the cooler, the case has a decent natural airflow, and I will tweak the voltage and frequency of the cpu.
Hi, thanks for the video! And what do you think about asus rog ryuo iii 240? When testing 7800x3d, Cinebench for 10 minutes in multicore, I have a maximum of 85 degrees, but it mostly stays at 83-84 degrees Celsius. The processor frequency was kept at 4800 MHz, the motherboard MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI at standard settings. RAM Kingston Fury Renegade RGB, DDR5, 32 GB, 6000MHz, CL32.
did you fix your high temp?
@@BlackEyedFish any update on your temps?
yes repasted with thermal grizly max is 78 cinebench and 60ish when 4k gaming 50% fan speed@@anant0089
Can see shit on my old laptop what you recomend
We are working on a better graph system
why are pure rock 2 and pure rock 2 FX so far apart?
Because that fan makes a huge difference
Excellent - as usual 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoy your videos but your list of coolers is very long, any chance you could split it in 2 so its a bit more readable?😂
Noted!
I’ve been trying to find a good way of doing that for months. Suggestions are very welcome 😅
* as of this morning, it’s 10- entries longer
@@STSYT why not just only highlight the popular coolers in the video and keep a link to your published results in the description?
Put a link to a higher quality image we can zoom in on?@@STSYT
just zoom in !!! That's what I did.
Did anyone try the ID Cooling 214 XT on the 7800X3D? Curious to see the results.
Should be similar to the Pure Rock 2 Black
Well i got a 360 radiator from coolermaster now, i wanne reuse that thing, would this be enough?
Yo dude, what about deepcool LT 720?
I have Arctic Freezer 34 eSport DUO, would it be good enought for this processor? I won't do any overclocking.
Same
what about ak620 (ag620) will it be enough?
i have a noctua nh-u12a, is it good enough?
what about the peerless assassin 120?
is deepcool LT720 good cooler for 7 7800x3d ?
I can save you a lot of time watching this... just get a Thermalright Peerless Assassin dual tower 2x 120mm fan heatsink or a decent AIO if you prefer water cooling and be done.
thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for, I got tired whit the ''this is a reference list'' thing on the video, and I just wanted to know how the Assassin works on the 7800X3D, thanks again!
@@Oiak1086The newer Phantom Spirit is a touch better than the Peerless Assassin, but we're talking 1-2 degrees. The 7800x3d isn't particularly hot, it's quite efficient. I actually have a Noctua NHD15 on mine, but the Thermalright PA/PS coolers are within a degree or two of the Noctua while being smaller, lighter and about 1/4 the price...
@@jamesg8246 thank you so much! The only ''problem'' that I had whit the Phantom Spirit is that I didn't found a white one, only blacks, and as my setup is all white then... well, I bought the Assassin after reading this comments, yours included lol
@@Oiak1086 Yeah I just installed the white PA in my daughters rig, it performs quite well and has the ARGB lighting she likes.
I’m using the Arctic 420 ARGB. And my cpu has frozen over😂😂😂
What bout is40x v2
I bought one with am5 bracket for $8

With Asus LC II 360 cooler, it varies between 37 and 42 degrees at idle and a maximum of 55 to 65 degrees in games. In the bios settings, the cpu opt fan works in standard mode and the pump works in turbo mode. Is this correct?
Have a question. Will Ryzen 7 7800x3d be ok with NZXT Kraken Z63?
Absolute, the 280 AIOs in the video are very comparable since the Kraken Z63 is a top of the line AIO that cools better then some reliable 360 AIOs out there. Only 2 things i dont like is that the radiator is aluminium and not copper like the cooler itself and its not refillable. If my Z63 dies after the 5 year waranty i will switch to an Alphacool AIO because of that. I will miss the LCD alltough 🤣
Works great. Kraken 280mm is great and fits well in many cases. I have the x61 with an oc 5820k at 4.4 ghz 1.3v which makes some heat and it keeps it very cool, under 80 degrees without maxing the fans, in fact I have it set at fix 35% at the moment and it runs very good in gaming and benchmarks, not a single throttle.
The 7800x3d is very power efficient and supports a lot of cooling options. There is a big list on amd official website
wait is Qube 500 from cooler master a bad case for cooling? or is bad in general in any aspect? because i was planning to buy it, please someone clarify
Aww man, I dont see a Deepcool AK-620 :(
Hi can NZXT x63 work with the r7 7800x3D..?
is the deepool ag400 good enough?
Get AG620, AK620, Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120, Thermalright Phantom Spirit. Single tower might be insufficient at some loads, even at more demanding games
what about the LT 520 ???
A small suggestion, next time do a better comparison with a variety of options that are not from the same brand.
Secondly don't just put small bars that are really hard to see and read the texts alongside it only to find out that there are not actual temperature mentioned. I'm utterly irritated by this review, not anywhere at what I was looking for.
Bro where are the actual stats...
anyone know the song in the background at the beginning? lol
Not even I could tell you right now 😅 we get all of our songs from Epidemic if that helps you
Watch it at x1.25
Hey, I have a question, some time ago you made a video about a 200m fan case, ruclips.net/video/sEepm6getgc/видео.html&ab_channel=STS, and i've been wondering. I am trying to buy a new PC soon, and i have 2 options,
1. A PC with IT-3503 Airstream as a case
2. And a PC with MX330-G as a case.
The main diffrence is that the Airstream has 1 TB of SSD and the MX330G has 480GB of SSD.
Which one should i get now ?
If the storage is really the only other difference, I would go for the one with the bigger storage. Of course, assuming that the price is the same
@@STSYT the one with bigger storage is cheaper
