Nice build! And this is indeed something you do once but never again, been there done that when i put a turbo converted F7R in my 1993 R19 16v Ph2. (LHD) The amount of mods where well endless...(as you probably know by now too) Engine Dynamics is really nice company and good service, bought some bits and parts from them too (turbo manifold etc)
thanks matey, I was very keen to make sure it maintained its sound. The VVT is still there so the signature note remains but with a Megane conversion this would have been lost. It makes much more turbo noise than the Gopro picks up!
Not this time, already had far too much spent on it recently. Sadly as the bodywork doesn’t really make it go faster it’s quite a reluctant spend but it certainly does need putting straight.
Ah, you spotted that! I don’t have the car at the moment as it’s off having the gearbox/clutch and exhaust gasket done so I can’t quite finish off the wiring episode how I want! When it’s back the video will be up :)
Not that it's going to matter now but...around 1:00 in it looks like you have your nordlock washers on back to front! :) EDIT: that'll teach me to watch the video further before commenting!
You're spot on there! I just looked it up and realised the error of my ways. We moved away from that set up because on the other 182 turbo we did, originally we didn't have locking tabs and the studs unwound from the manifold. The tabs worked best with the bigger head an un-flanged nut.
Thanks Michael. The thickness of the the gasket increases the force on it and it’s probably why it failed so I’m going for tried and tested OEM Nissan 200sx gaskets which are a lot thinner and great quality.

Cheers Dave, nah still got it but barely drive it these days as it’s pretty unreliable! Diff hopefully going in later this year when it’s running right.
It was refurbished so had a few new parts including the end casing and a limited slip differential and the casings vapour blasted that's why it looks so new.
Hi trackit I own a clio extreme like you and wanted to change the door handles to the glossy 172 ones but I don’t know how to fit them I have watched the video where you modify yours but it doesn’t show it fully
Make sure the window is up, remove the door card (t20 along bottom, door handle and door pull), handle is then visible, 2 10mm nuts. The bar attached to the handle pushed out of the metal clip.
that little battle vs standard 182 really shows that little boost as what is needed to make fast clio real fast! great vid!
Thanks mate, very kind. Was actually surprised how fast the standard 182 was! When it’s gets on boost though it’s gone.
V Band over Gasket any day.
Good Job, Keep it up.

Great video, keep up the good work look forward to seeing more. It still has that Clio raw sound even with the turbo which surprised me

Another great video. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Thanks Dave, me too when I get the car back and we can get back on track!
TrackIt - Bodywork being done while it’s away?

Was there a part 3 or am I losing my mind lol, great job on the build.

Thé problème the turbo il chauffe beaucoup la ou tu la mie alors sur ca doit être un problème mais ca doit pousser
Great build!
Out of interest what it the next step regarding gaskets if the copper one wont handle the pressure?

@@TrackItYT I don't suppose you have a link you could put on for the correct gasket?

@@TrackItYT you can help me about ball joints? I change 2 times but are every times wrong parts. Do you have the originals?
You need the ball joints with 12mm holes instead of the 10mm on the non sport.
@@TrackItYT Can they be for clio or for megane or anyone? have the 12mm screws and the rest is all the same?
