It's been almost a month since I made this animatic. Looking back, I have made a lot of mistakes. I cut a lot of corners and simplified my artstyle. However despite all that, I still proud of what I came up with since this is my first animatic dedicated to a dearly beloved game.
Looking this after a year and wow.
I'm absolute garbage at drawing and visioning hand 💀 How tf is the thumb works like that? It's literally AI level of incorrect anatomy lmao? This is why you should use reference. Don't rush your project, and be competent at quality control check before publishing. (Unlike my impatient goofy ahh lol)

Hatred's Coronation
One of the best moments in JRPG- in VIDEOGAME- history.
Alicia flashing in front of Oersted's eyes at 1:02 was a nice detail to add. Between the image flashing between a whole version and a shattered version, it shows how conflicted Oersted is, even as Odio. He never stopped loving Alicia, but he was _so_ angry at her betrayal... He only brought himself to forgive her as he was dying himself after the heroes slay him, regardless of ending (even when you refust to slay Odio, he still forces you to)
Seriously, Dario Coates needs more roles. Dude knocked Oersted/Odio out of the goddamn park.

He deserves so much better then this.

I used this as the intro of my Odio "Haunted" AMV on my other RUclips channel. It took some finagling, but this actually lines up really well with the first minute-and-a-half of the song... and the song fits Odio damn near perfectly!
