i have a 2023hd5. love love the full bumpers and rack i didn't have on my polaris. i will say i miss the power from my 800 but it does most of what i need outside of hammering through the black mud. power and ride are very smooth and quiet as well.
This is a little different than the 2024 500 I bought, but buyer beware that front box lid will come open and break off just hauling it in the bed of your pickup, in fact the strap inside isnt to stop the lid from opening too far its so the lid stays with the machine when it breaks off. So strap the lid down from the get go. Also the plastic breaks very easy just driving through brush its lower front fenders pop off, also where the rear fender meets the wheel wheel in back of the foot fest is screwed together and one slight rub against a tree and it breaks apart. I would take the screw out so it has some movement and isnt stiff and breaks. I would say to look at all brands and push on the plastic to see if it gives, if it doesnt you are in trouble like me. I have less than 100 miles on mine and the front lid is broken the two rear wheel wells are broken where it was screwed together and I drive with the two lower front fenders taken off so they dont pop out and get caught on everything. No I am not rough on the machine, in fact I have a 1994 Polaris that has zero plastic damage, the difference is that its plastic gives and the Can Am's is stiff and brittle. So I am looking for a machine that has regular metal racks and plastic that isnt stiff and brittle, any ideas?

Would it do well as a trail rider/ hunting atv? The price of this unit is enticing
Can you snorkel it?
Awesome Video!
