This song is not about shooting a gun it's talking about his music and sending his message. The microphone is his weapon as referred to a gun. He even says musical shot
Kia Ora hello my friend hay i saw Sly and Robbie with Michael Rose on vocals in 2003 it was one of the loudest gigs I've ever been to the bass was rearranging the atoms in our bodies and Michael Rose was just insanely awesome IT WAS A STAND OUT GIG
The wanted poster makes me think about a guy we named " Shakin' Sean " in Spain about 26 years ago. Sean claimed to be the nephew of 80s icon Shakin Stevens, and he was always on the karaoke. However, he couldn't sing a note or keep up with the music, so the song would end, and he would still be singing. He was so bad that he was brilliant 👏. On his last night in Salou, he had a load of wanted posters printed, and he was selling autographed ones for 1000 Pesetas a time. He sold them all, and when he walked out of The Lazy Wave bar for the final time, he left to an enormous standing ovation 😅

Glad you liked it. There's an awesome version of this on the live album, Captured Live. Worth a look, there's also a stunning cover of Johnny B Goode.

Have a listen to "Steppin' Razor" if you get a chance, it's a great track.
