    Curious whats the best way to combat a sloped floor? Looking at doing this in my garage, with a 1.5'' of downward slope in the bar area.

      Add adjustable feet with thread inserts so you can adjust them to level the bar. Could also use shims or have a bottom board that is tapered to level bar and then cover with trim

    For a home bar, same L-shape but way smaller, say 3'x5½, would 2x3 be sufficient?

    • @fan1.0
      @fan1.0 Год назад +2

      I used 2x3's to build the framing for my bar. It works out fine. Using plywood for the outer skin is a lot cheaper than using 2x4's also.

    How long was the bar ?

  • @mikejones-we9eo

    I'm sorry but I don't like this at all. My problem is, what happens when they need to replace the flooring and the bar is on top of it. Also never heard of cutting 2x4s around trim, shouldn't it be cut flush to the wall then add the trim back? 🤔 I'm very confused

    • @frankshandymanservice
      @frankshandymanservice  Год назад +2

      Since the floor is concrete here, we didn’t need to worry about replacing the floor in the future. The trim cutout can go either way but thats how this particular design went.
