  • This is the first of a 3 part series dedicated to the lumber train and some switching operations on the layout.
    In This quick video we follow the Lumber train from Avery, ID to Cyr, MT. Once at Cyr, the power will cutoff and runaround the train, where it will tie back on and head to the Saw Mill and begin switching operations, which will be the focus of the upcoming Part 2, and then continue the journey to Haugan, MT in Part 3.

    Man, what pure enjoyment it is watching these trains on this beautiful and very scale layout. Please keep the videos coming friend. It's a pleasure watching those locomotives wind through those hills and over the trestles!!

    Beautiful layout! You've certainly captured this rugged region well. I chuckled when I heard the signal relays for the signals caused a flashback to Bruce Chubb's layout (yep, showing my age lol) from many, many moons ago and his in-depth systems. Well done!
