- These 2-Easy ways on How to Make Dulce de Leche by heating the condensed/sweetened milk to create amber color and caramel flavor. You can now enjoy Dulce de Leche in just less than 20mins.
I did not add Butter, Salt, and Vanilla, because I just wanted the natural sweetness of Dulce de Leche, but you may add if you wish. You may also double boil the Dulce de Leche if ever you wish to adjust the thickness, and this time you may add salt, vanilla, etc.
These recipes can be added to your favorite desserts and drinks as toppings and fillings
Mama Ai's Kitchen 2-Easy Ways DULCE de LECHE list of Ingredients
DULCE DE LECHE 1
In a pan, add 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
Caramelized the Sugar
This will take 5-7 minutes
Add 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
Continue stirring until lumps dissolves
Add 1 can Condensed Milk
Continuously stir until thicken, when thickens turns off heat and allow to cool down
Transfer to a container and set aside
DULCE DE LECHE 2
In a pan, add 3/4 cup White Sugar and 1/3 cup Water
Bring to a boil in medium heat. Do not stir.
The water will evaporate and Sugar will caramelized
This will take 5-7 minutes. Wait until it reach amber color.
Swirl the pan slowly. Turn Off the heat.
Add 1 Condensed Milk.
Continuously stir while adding the Milk gradually
Stir well until blended.
Turn the heat On.
Continuously stir until thicken, when thickens turns off heat and allow to cool down
Transfer to a container and set aside

These 2 recipes are by far the easiest I've seen. other videos show boiling the can of condensed milk in a pot of water for hours (which makes me nervous) or baking in the oven which I did try but it took over 4 hours to achieve the color I wanted. will definitely try your easy methods in the future. Thanks for sharing 👍
Boiling the can of condensed milk (preferably Alaska or a good brand avoid Cowbell or Jersey) produces the best tasting Dulce De Leche, I usually do this outside, multiple cans in a huge pot over a fire, as long as the water level is high, covering the cans completely there are no issues. I live in the province though, it may not be an option if you're in the city. This gives you a nice consistency, without the added sugar (it's sweet enough as it is) and also just taste more tradional than the pan methods above. Leaving it to boil for hours is also no effort with this method, just add a little water every now and then if needed and make sure you add wood to keep the fire going. Try the above and then try the long boil method and you'll see what I mean in terms of flavor.

Would of loved to see how they became so beautifully dark, you didn't show it turning color. Looks liked caramel recipes ! Thanks, do you think this could be tried with Stevia or Truvia ?
Hello, beautiful dark color comes after I turned off the heat. As it cools down, it still thickens because of continues cooking process and darken its color. I haven't tried these recipes with Stevia or Truvia yet, maybe next time. Thank you and God bless.

DULCE DE LECHE 1
En una sartén, agrega 3/4 taza de azúcar moreno claro.
Caramelizado el azúcar
Esto tardará entre 5 y 7 minutos.
Agrega 1/2 taza de Leche Evaporada
Continúe revolviendo hasta que los grumos se disuelvan.
Agrega 1 lata de Leche Condensada
Revuelva continuamente hasta que espese, cuando espese apague el fuego y deje enfriar.
Transfiera a un recipiente y reserve.
DULCE DE LECHE 2
En una sartén, agrega 3/4 taza de Azúcar Blanca y 1/3 taza de Agua.
Llevar a ebullición a fuego medio. No revuelvas.
El agua se evaporará y el azúcar se caramelizará.
Esto tardará entre 5 y 7 minutos. Espere hasta que alcance el color ámbar.
Mueve la sartén lentamente. Apaga el fuego.
Agrega 1 Leche Condensada.
Revuelva continuamente mientras agrega la leche gradualmente.
Revuelva bien hasta que se mezclen.
Enciende el fuego.
Revuelva continuamente hasta que espese, cuando espese apague el fuego y deje enfriar.
Transfiera a un recipiente y reserve.

Be careful though.. if u are making smaller batch like me and even if u add less sugar… cause if u add too much sugarthe dulce de leche will become very hard and not spreadable 😭😭

Hello po, yung 2nd option po may condensed milk po sya. Ilalagay po yung condensed milk after mag amber color ng sugar with water po. timestamps 3:20.

Do you mean hot milk?!
If you boil the can of condensed milk in the pressure cooker for 50 minutes you can make dulce de leche também.
You can also make it with milk, sugar and baking soda.
How pls share the recepie with baking soda pls reply
Sorry, but unless you actually use the condensed milk ( boiled can ) it is NOT the same.

Hello po, caramelized na po dapat ang sugar kapag inilagay ang evap tapos may mamumuo po na sugar kaya kailangan pong tuloy tuloy ang paghalo para matunaw din po agad. Pwede nyo rin pong iOFF muna ang apoy para hindi po kayo mataranta then on po ulit sa mahinang apoy. Continous lang po palagi sa paghalo. Thankie and God bless.

Hello po, continous po ang paghalo sa mahinang apoy po. Kailangan po hindi masyado malapot kasi po kapag lumamig nag seset pa po sya. Tumitigas rin po ang caramel kapag matagal sa apoy. Thankie and God bless.
