Phil, you did the right thing.
Hey i am happy for you here that had you decided to quit drinking here on your own.I know that it's a very hard habit to wonna break here on your very own there.Congradulations on your own at wanting to do that here.I think that it's a wonderful think, you are doing a very good job here, keep up the good work at it there!
Phil Collen, my favorite guitarist of all time ❤🥳
I am very happy how things have turned out for Phil; starting with quitting the alcohol. Granted, he and dear Steve had many documented adventures (the Terror Twins). But Phil changed up everything: becoming vegan, working out his body into amazing shape. It must have been very difficult for Steve to handle his best mate's changes--sadly he could not control his own deep demons. But Phil never abandoned him. He was loyal to Steve's end😢. Still loyal. Phil is a great man and a master beast on the guitar 🎸👏🎸💎
I quit drinking cold turky that also drugs i quit too ive been clean for 19 years sober
Phil, Steve, and Viv are my biggest guitar inspirations. Steve gone way too soon. Def Leppard and Terror Twins 4ever!
Those 3 are my 3 favorite players as well they all rock
Awesome, Phil! I was a social drinker and gave up alcohol, gluten and excessive sugars and have never felt better!
It's a hard habit to break, but if you can great. My self on and off.
I remember another Story.Phil was So Wasted,and woke up,in a Strange,Uncomfortable,Environment,Not Knowing,where He was,and This Scared the Crap out of Phil,and Quit Cold Turkey!Any way Best 4 U,and Your Outlook!Allways!Take care!

Bro great job u look n sound fucking amazing better than 99% of guys a third ur age in the business. You give us great music but also hope n inspiration
Hello 👋 phill Collins you rock
Collen. Phil Collen
Can we still link to the original interview!
Quit myself best thing I ever did. Booze is such a trap.
I'm straight edge
The one thing I think Phil had bad judgement over....not attending Steve Clark's funeral. That was a bad call Phil. He thought there would be a media scrum but there was not.
@starboy3741 Yes but how the FOOK would he know what Steve would've thought. Do you think Steve would've missed a bandmates funeral? Would he fook have done. Phil just thought he was too famous and it would be a media scrum. Apparently it wasn't.
Hey I am 54 he still damn hot ❤❤❤❤
His name is Phil Collen. Not Phil Collins. Totally different guy. Geez Louise.
I’m aware. His name is right in the title and we’re friends… Not sure where you’re getting the idea that I called him Phil Collins…
I saw them in 87. Front row. I could see them guzzling straight from bottles back stage. Got asked back stage 😂 too bad I had to say no thanks 🎉😂
He woke up with a expensive watch $15,000 could not remember buying it .
oh gee that's helpful to people who just simply can't quit cold turkey and stay that way for the long-term
That’s awesome!! Drinking destroys the body, mind, and lives. It’s very sad that Steven lost his life because of alcohol.
Steve Clark was heart and soul of DL and all the hits they made, he carried the band. "Women" and Pour Some SoM" were prob. made for Steve. Phil is looking good without the alcohol now.
Phil Colleen
🤗👋🏻
Phil looks better than most 40 year old’s that in itself is a good reason to not drink
He looks like a trimmer David Gilmour
I always thought Phil quit because Steve died from an alcohol overdose
They booted Pete for drinking
Too bad steve didn't follow phil's example. 😢
I used to think it was funny, but its really not. Its like being accused of a crime - except you actually did it - but you have no memory of doing it. That is terrifying.
Tell Joe Elliot I said hi 👋 to him tell him I'm from Dayton Ohio USA 🇺🇸 my name is Justin flack phill Collins
Hey luv it tell Joe this little country cowgirl says hi luv u both always This Little Country Cowgirl from Limestone Tenn Always stay safe and take care Always 💖😉😋🐾💯🤠♥️❤️❤️❤️
My sister live in Ohio
Yeah, blacking out is bad - that's why I drink in moderation.
They put in the biopic that the reason was because he blacked out and bought a $15k watch 🤷🏾♂️ #LongLiveSteveClark
Some people don’t have anxiety and depression.
Ya but some people do why that matter
You could have lost an arm
I'm early 60's and I still drink, and will drive myself home, BUT......., I don't go out & get shitfaced like I used to back in the day.
If I'm out drinking, I maintain a cool head & drink to a minimum so that I don't harm anyone else. If I take myself out, that's one thing, but harming someone else isn't cool.
I know someone who is basically a good guy, but had to spend several years in prison for killing someone else due to his own drunk driving, and he will most certainly tell you it was a stupid decision on his part.
