I'm honestly so disappointed in the ND golden palette. As a pale olive undertone the original gold palette is my holy grail neutral palette because the brown tones in it leaned more toward being slightly green which compliments my skin tone perfectly. I'm glad I was able to pick up an OG gold palette back when she had limited availability for it on her website but im so sad that people won't be able to get it anymore outside of resale
Maybe try the Beauty Bay Golden Age Palette (9pan),it has the most beautiful golden greenish tones

That new gold palette is absolutely ridiculous. The shades are all the same. The shimmers all look the same…or pretty darn close to each other. Natasha is using the least amounts of pigments she can, to plop some shades in a midi palette and charge those high prices. Basically price gouging/ripping people off. Anyone with medium to dark skin isn’t going to be able to use that palette 🤷🏻♀️. That palette is ridiculous

the cream in the alamar trios is actually just a neutral blush! it’s not described as a bronzer, it’s supposed to be a base for the powder blush :) i appreciate the alamar shoutout though, they’re soooo underrated. the owner said something about having legal troubles and almost having to close the brand so im glad they’re sticking around because their powder blushes and highlighters are bombbbbb.

I just put on the new ELF Foundation, it is very pretty on the skin. It’s a semi matte finish and I would say medium coverage. My skin is it normal to slightly dry. For eight dollars it’s definitely worth it!

I'm not interested in any of these products, it's all the same just a different brand name. For example blushes, every brand has the same colors maybe slight variations but they all look similar on cheeks, so I don't see why should I buy the same thing when I have it already 🤷 Greetings from Croatia 😀
I have been using the NYX color correction stick in pink(comes in many colors) for a shadow primer this past month, and it works great.
Do you have oily lids? I'm still struggling to find a good primer OTHER than UD because my lids are so darn OILY.

@jennteal5265 I have hooded lids and watery eyes.... tend to normal skin. It's worth a try since the NYX stick is inexpensive. I think the package says waterproof.

about chunky packaging, if it’s not a showpiece or special edition, why would i want a product to be bigger than it has to be? makeup takes up so much space, it’s ideal for me to have the packaging relatively equal to the amount of product
I have been using the eye primer from LH Cosmetics for just over a year now and for me it is the perfect primer for my almost 63 year old eyelids, I used to always use the Mac paint pot which I was very satisfied with, but in recent years I had too much texture on my eyelids from this primer, so I had to look for another one and LH primer solved that problem, I wish you a nice weekend with your husband and pets and see you Monday 👍🏻👍🏻

I’d love to see you do several looks with the ND palette. Yes, you may be a later video out there but everyone is only doing one look and so you really can’t see how far the palette goes. If you do several looks and see if you can get different versions of looks out of it, your video would be extra good! ❤❤❤

ND's gold palette is kinda a letdown because gold is an interesting material to be inspired by. Seeing it at Sephora, it looked sort of generic next to all the other neutrals
I am getting a bit exhausted by the cacophony of products shouting for our dollars. I’m going to be careful and also keep my eyes and ears open to the special things. I do like the Clionadh special shades. I hope to try their mattes shadows this year 🧡
I purchased the Natasha Denona Golden palette and it arrived like the most fragile glass. Packing was 10/10 and Ulta needs to learn from that so when we order from them it won't come broken.

I was never a particularly good or talented makeup artist, admittedly, but I was a working one for a hot minute, and that P.Louise palette gives me nightmares, it makes my back hurt. If you're dragging around that many eyeliners can you imagine the number of lipsticks, foundations, etc. you're carrying?

I was just eyeing em cosmetics yesterday and noticed that I completely missed a lipstick launch: they have matte liquid lipsticks that have peptides in them. I almost swooned. My middle aged lips love peptides! Has anyone tried them yet? For the Plouise, there are actually 2 more colour choices for that liner palette. one with bright colours and one with muted colours.This nude one is the only one you get in the budget box apparantly. but im still annoyed as i would never use this neutral one ever and i buy the boxes :(
OMG that commodity fragrance looks so delicious to me, too!!! But the Nest sprays look like The Body Shop (which was the slightly more "adult" bath n body works of the 90s-00s).

6:17 when you say Natasha Denonas last few releases have been one dimensional… you hit the nail on the head! I felt the Xenon pallete was sooooo basic. It was just variations of mixing black and white 😑
I am so happy to see the Clionadh original palettes to come back! I was such a baby when they were originally around, had almost no makeup budget so they were out of my reach, but now they are "attainable" for me. So if I like them, I could actually have them! It is such an amazing thing to see as an indie oldie

I can’t be the only one who saw the P Louise palette in the thumbnail and thought it must be concealer, right? I thought “oh that’s excessive but it would make sense for makeup artists to have that many base shades” BUT THEN I LEARNED THE THRUTH
I'm wearing the new gold palette and highlight from ND and it's pretty. Not blinding bit gives a pretty glow. I didn't have the og palette so this was nice to have.
I agree with you! PLouise palette is ridiculous. Pros are creative and they know how to and already have what they need to handle their client's. They have the same color or very similar colors in this ring.😨 I don't think I need the Natasha Denona golden palette. I already have, after I checked my stash, so many brown shadow palettes even from ND. I might get the highlighter palette for my eyes. I have seen it swatched and they would look great on the eyes! Always love your content and your sense of humor! 😂😄🖒💚
LYS, Like Unearthly, has these swatches so intensely done that it's virtually impossible to see what they would look like on the cheeks.
I get that people need to see the colors, but just slap the white paint on my face and call me Bozo, because that is just too intense.
I like the ND gold, mainly because it fits with the current zeitgeist of eyeshadow. I am not in need of a gold palette. I have a Metric Sheet Tonne of palettes and could probably dupe it.
As far as formula, few can touch Viseart.

I agree with regard to ND! Last interesting palette was the Yucca! No doubt her quality is always amazing but colourstory wise not super creative. Hopefully in fall or holiday a more interesting palette😍 With greens or blues maybe?😇

I finally got some Clionadh shadows in May when they had their sale and holy cow the shimmers are absolutely incredible. 100% worth the money.
I got Natasha in trendmood box, package colors are way different than product 😂 ok I like p.louise products regardless of Her and it’s the same for JSC for me Clown Makeup Lover 😂
Do you like her eyeshadow base? If so how does it dry down. I just see videos where it is laid on so think...and I like cut crease but I never understood bothering doing an eye and covering it up. But we all have our ways to getting an end result. I guess I want a reason to try it.
I was really hoping nd was going to update the gold pallet but go a bit extra and make it more colourful but on theme. This just makes me sad.

I think P Louise is for people who are cosplaying as makeup artists and not working makeup artists, if that makes sense. I did get the Nabla quad because I love multi chromes, but my Indie ones are really fragile to travel with
Or went to a strip mall modeling school to learn their craft. I can't lie, that shit has always had me intrigued,. though now that we have the Internet in a different way. I deleted my comment on regard to this as of inspired something unrelated to P.Louise but it reminds me of the part of beauty internet that I rarely interact with... and of you search the brand you get a hint of it. Not to be confused with MLM beauty internet. It is for people who post in r/makeup vs some of the smaller beauty subs. I support all makeup lovers of course, it is easy to think we are all consuming the same content, brands etc. but we aren't by a long shot. Like I was looking at Ofra cosmetics the other day...and they also have a line for "artists" and they have collabs with people off my radar.
I wear the Nest roller ball perfumes, and I love the idea of a body mist! I know some don't but it's perfect for me, so THANK YOU for including it today!! I would not have noticed if not for you including it. I went to Sephora website and put in a Notify Me for release. Yay!!

I don't get the hype for ND. Her shadow palettes tend to run warm-very warm over all, the midi Xenon was very note with not enough distinction in the colors and the shimmers just meh and brands like Viseart do the same thing but less expensive.
Knowing your taste in perfumes, you have to try : L'impératrice and Light Blue INTENSE (the eau de parfum version of Light Blue), both by D&G.
I'm guessing the Nomad drop will be Great Barrier Reef if it's colourful (plus the photo). Not planning to buy any more shadows this year unless there is a Christmas release that gets me.

I have the elf foundation and HATE it. It looks lovely on application but wore terribly. Never worn a foundation that only lasted an hour on my skin 😅 They're lying about the long wear formula 😫 I have oily combo skin and used a primer and setting spray and it still wore terribly 💔
The Rhode blush-packing reminded me of the Westman Atelier too, but like a slightly obese version one or two steps before the final design 😬
I am excited for the Clionadh palettes as I did love their matte formula but they shattered on me so one of their older collections I still have all the shades but I had to get rid of the mattes as they kept shattering. I hope they have a new and improved formula and honestly super excited now that I have seen the colour stories! That perfume sounds like a fruity dream sign me up! Everything else I have been able to resist besides lethal and avatar which I will patiently wait for!
I’m a year older than you and in our generations high school life lip gloss was life!! A must have. Masks feel so luxurious on the lips and is basically a powered up version of high school lip gloss. In case you wondered lol
That Natasha Denona palette was such a missed opportunity, same with the zenon palette. What happened to those beautiful teals and greens from the original gold palette? Also your makeup looks amazing 😍 Love that eyelook
