Love when a story has a happy ending
I love when a massage has a happy ending
Proper and noble use of drone
Weird comment.
Thank heaven the gentleman used his drone to rescue the lady! ❤
Good job Sumner County!! Thank goodness shes ok.
I'm glad they found her. Poor sweetheart.
She wasn't lost.
Most beautiful story I’ve seen all week
Great job, Sumner County, having that equipment and using it to find the missing person before something bad happened. Bravo! 🏆
Hero! Thank you for saving this precious lady!
Excellent work with the drone, I’m glad to see some positive news.
Thank God that she was found safe
Proper use of technology is wonderful.
Not enough happy endings like this… refreshing to see 🙏
So glad this is a good ending
Excellent work!!!
She was pushing her walker!? She is strong! I am so glad she was found happy and healthy and determined to keep pushing on! So incredible!!😊
Every rescue department should have a drone operator on the team! Every town should have a list of drone owners and have them on a list to call, even dogs are now found with drones! Great job folks, time is of the essences! You done good!
Wait. How long was she missing? How long was she stuck in the field? Whatever the answers, I'm so happy she's safe. Good job youse guys.
I read an article that she was missing an hour.
A miracle of modern technology!! Great rescue gentlemen!!❤
Oh, bless her - she must have been terrified.
So good to know she was located and okay.
I can actually see this happening. My mom has Alzheimer’s and she snuck out of the apartment complex and got lost because all the other units in this complex looks the same so she was totally lost and it took me four hours to find her……. and it was very hot that day and when I brought her back home, she was thanking me and telling me how thirsty she is and she will not be going outside today and 15 minutes later my mom tried to sneak out again. She already forgot she was…..SMH.
Alzheimer's is 1 of the worst things that can happen to a family. I wish you all the best.
I've been there myself. You can't turn your back on them for a minute they will try to escape they can be little rascals with dementia related illnesses
Drones have done some amazing finds since they came out, and have saved lives in very difficult situations.
So glad to see one good story on the news these days!🤗
Way to go EMA!!! That's how it's done, fellas. Ms Betty had her angels by her side. This could have ended so badly. Thank you for what you do ♥
Thank God she was found. ❤❤❤
Aww, she was stuck with her walker. So happy she is safe at home.
@sweetnsoursusan "Aww, she was stuck with her walker. "
Thanks! Nice of you to tell us what the video already told us.
Bless her 😌. I'm so glad she was found.
Thank goodness for drones. Bless her and thank you heroes. ❤
It’s nice to hear something good for a change. These guys did great thank God they had a drone and found her so quickly ❤
Oh Miss Betty is just on another adventure.
Oh my goodness! So glad she was ok, eventually. This is deffo the saving grace of drones.
"Missing woman found by drone". Man that was really nice of the drone. The family really owes that drone a huge debt of gratitude.
The debt they owe is about $2700 a year 😏
❤ thank God they found her alive and saved her!
Nice work men…glad she is back home and safe!
So many people with dementia wander off and die. It was practically a miracle she was found alive. Thank goodness for the good news
I hear that is common for those who may suffer with dementia that they often wonder.
Friend of mines mother takes off everyday. She's going for a walk. Her daughter is an awesome caretaker and has to follow behind her in a car- which agitate the mom saying she's going to her daughter house. She sometimes doesn't recognize her and talks to her- while looking for her at the same time. It's not easy at all.
Hopefully this lady has family too.
Yep. People don't realize what kind of a nightmare this is for caretakers...
Poor thing! Thank God for those heroes!
God bless her She was still on her feet making good time! I guess she wanted to get out for a while Great job by her rescuers...
If only she had a weed whacker attachment 😊
I'm amazed she got that far with a walker
Fake story to sell drones
Thank you for finding her .🎉
she has to have dementia.... no way around it... she needs to be protected from herself after this type of incident.... she simply cannot live alone anymore or with whoever is living in her home.... she could very easily have passed before being found.
Did you watch the video? It says she has Alzheimer’s
@@phillipmarlowe0525 Yes he did watch the video, but he suffers from selective amnesia. Him and 11 others.
@@phillipmarlowe0525 Do you know anything about dementia and Alzheimer's? Alzheimer's is a type of dementia.
Stuff like this is a caretaker's worst nightmare. Dementia is the huge medical elephant in the room that no one wants to deal with...
As a NP who works in diagnosing and managing dementias, I challenge your assumption of her " having to move". How often is she going missing? And what's is locking her up protecting her from? Happiness on the ?? Family farm? Yes I'd rather freedom, and joy, and die living, than locked up to live an extra five years miserable. So there us indeed a balance, and things to be assessed. But dementia just gets worse.
@@joywebster2678 your last sentence sums it up... it just gets worse from here. this is the first, not the last time this will happen to her and not many people are qualified to care for her.
Thank you for finding her before night fall. Good job you'll.👏👏👏
Oh, thank god. They found her poor little thing
Bless her heart and thanks to the rescuers❤
Great job, everybody! Thank you. 👏👏👏❤️
Glad to know she was found alive. Several people lost their lives in AZ and Utah recently, lost hiking in excessive heat and as result of flash flooding in canyons. My condolences to their families.
Like my grandmother said in the 70's . She said living now is easier than when she was coming up. If we didn't have drone tech it might have been a lot longer before that woman was found, and she could have died.
Oh my God that poor woman. Thanks too all who found her in time💗
What a blessing. Praise be to God.
Those guys are the heros in the flesh.
Very good news.
This story is much happier than the title lets on. I heart the lady. She may have been 'missing', but she wasn't lost. She knew exactly where she was going and King Kong himself couldna stopped her. Thankfully the SCFD found her before Kong did or we'd have a 60 foot tall gorilla that needed rescuing and they don't make stretchers that big.
What an awesome story thanks!
❤Awesome. Thanks for helping. God bless you.🎉
First and foremost thank you so much for the fine work that you do within public safety great job! Drones definitely are making a big difference within public safety there's a great organization out there supporting public safety called the National Public Safety Drone Donation Program, when you purchase Drones, counter drone tech, training or software through their partners, not only do you get best possible value, in addition up to 10% of the net proceeds goes back to support that foundation to help underfunded departments receive the same life saving tech. Allow them to quote your next purchase and help support a great program.
Miss Betty has always been a real trail blazer!!! 😮 glad to see she's OK!
Thank you and blessings to them! ❤
Thank You Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for guiding these men in finding this woman!
Nah its was just science
This may sound cute, but it's not.
My mom had dementia so bad, she no longer thought she lived where she lived, even though she lived there for a half a century. She was sure someone was coming to get her, but she didn't know who, nor where she was supposed to go. I caught her several times trying to leave the house, even though she could barely walk.
This turned out okay, because it was a nice day. If it was during the winter, things could have turned out very differently.
This is hell to any caretaker....
Glad she was found safe.
Drones should be used more often for search & rescue. With infared equipped as well it could easily spot people in the rubble after a tornado hits to search for tornado survivors
Great idea to speed up rescues and help save lives.
Effective range is limiting, but would still be very helpful in the range it can reach.
They should, but they are very (!) expensive, and the training to be certified to fly them on rescues is expensive. So vote yes when they ask for taxes for this stuff.
Happy they kept looking
Thank all of you ❤
Wonderful job!💕
Great story! Who would give this a thumbs down?
God bless you all for finding her alive and safe!! Drones are an amazing tool !! Thank you all for finding her!!
Who allowed her to walk off?
Sometimes it cannot be controlled unless you put them in restraints
Don't judge if you've never been in that situation. It can happen no matter how closely you guard them. I moved in with my mother when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She went to bed early and I stayed up late to watch a movie. Thankfully I was still awake because I heard the door open and she walked out of the house into dark. I don't know what would have happened if I'd been asleep.
@@kaycampbell8532 Almost similar case here. I stayed with her for 9 whole years, till the end. You lock and unlock the door several times a day and very rarely, you're bound to forget to lock. She got out when I was sleeping, twice. First time in Sept 2020, a lady stopped her some 200m away at 8pm and called the police. Police found her the second time, as soon as she turned around the corner. At 4am on February 2022 with -2 degrees C. In a city of 1million people...Yes some people don't have a clue what its like.
@@kaycampbell8532 Why was she able to open the door and walk out? Wouldn't putting a lock on the inside of the door that requires a key that only you have a copy of prevent that? No judgement, btw. I'm glad you took care of your mother, and didn't put her in a "home". We have no idea what goes on in those places.
@royce......The doors had multiple locks but not the type you mentioned. Mom had never tried to leave the house previously so it wasn't an issue. Afterwards my husband installed locks at the top of the door where she couldn't reach them. Alzheimer's isn't a predictable disease, it's progression is different in every patient. It's extremely challenging to deal with.
Thermal imaging.. what can drones not do 👍👍👍👍👍
Go long distance, which is where you would really need this tech.
Mate and give birth to other drones. Not yet anyway...
Excellent use of a drone!
Much faster than a helicopter
A lot cheaper as well.
@@writerconsidered much cheaper. Helicopters are still needed by police departments, but not the expensive Bell or MD helicopters.
The Robinson R66 is the sweet spot for all police departments.
Drones can be deployed much faster and lower price point, but the operators still need to be trained, licensed, and safe.
Bless her heart. She was probably scared and confused for a bit. Poor li'l thing. ❤
That must be so terrifying for her family, so happy she was found. Good work with the drone!
thank goodness!! Great job in finding her!
Teamwork makes the dream work!❤❤❤
Hope they check her for UTI as it can make you have mind / memory issues. So glad they found her safe!
omg bless her heart. What a great ending. Well done EMA.
Thank God they found her! These are awesome people searching and I'm glad she's alright.
So very glad they found the darling alive! Bless the people who care.❤❤❤
STATE OF TENNESSEE, PLEASE NOTE - new orgs need to put that in the headlines, please.
People need to tag their elders who have dementia (OR nonverbal autistic kids) with something like APPLE i-tags or other trackers.
This could have been fatal.
Wonderful help!
PTL. Thank you for getting her home.
Thank you 🙏🏼 I’m so happy to hear that she is safe . We don’t often hear good news these days.
That is awesome. I’m so happy she was found. Bless her heart. ♥️ 🙏🏻
MIRACLE HAPPENED ! MAN WITH DRONE ! AAAAWWWWWRIGHT !
God bless her, thank God she was found safe.
Nice! 🙂 Luck is always helpful.
You guys are awesome!
Love to hear about these stories that bring hope to others if acted quickly on. It shows how important drones are coming into there own while doing searches.
I assume drone had a camera and no thermal heat seeking . People might get found quicker if alerts were put out faster and acted on.
CONGRATULATIONS on a fantastic find to all and can go home happy.
How sad. The poor woman. Great work saving her everyone. ❤
I'm not trying to be mean, but they should put the trackers that they use on children on them too.
Thank God she was safe!!!
God bless those folks.
God is good. Thank You emergency workers for helping save this lady & you got to love an ending like this..🙏
Great job. God bless this sweet woman.
Great Drone Program.
Thank you for what you do
Thank god for technology and for people like this.
93yrs holy smokes . How did she walk that far ? I'm too lazy to get up and walk to get a beer . Gotta hand it to her 👍
Wow, great story. Glad she is safe and thanks to this new technology.
Great work!!!
Poor lady. Kudos to the drone guy.😊
Bless her❤
Hope she lives a long life
She already has.
Glad you found her ,
God bless this woman. 🙏❤
