I hope there's more to your story because 2 attempted suicides 5 years ago say nothing about the person's ability to look after a child. Someone's past struggle shouldn't be hold against them, unless the person is still struggling now and can't properly raise a child because of it.

The judge was doing his job. Sadly, there is no law on the books which he could have upheld or applied in that moment. Rowan's law sounds like a brilliant idea and a much-needed law that could be used after it is passed.
@@heathernks8 The judge was doing his job.🤔 Go tell the mother to her face who son is dead
Let go??? Fired!!!
So heartbreaking and unjust! The poor boy and family! 😭💔 I’m so sorry for your loss! My deepest condolences and may he rest in peace.
Why, why do we keep letting this happen? How many babies are we going to bury or never find because laws protect the abuser.
Because children aren't valued and women are headed the same way but when you protect patriarchy, 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏾♀️
Doesn't have to be this way.....go out there and legally do what you can....file complaints, make reports....look into other cases that have had the same tragic result....and cases of children that can be saved from this type of ending and demand this is stopped and has checks and balances. Really, when did people stop caring enough?????
Bc men make laws for men.
Cops and judges are lazy scumbags
@@caseelementinvestigations4970 I don’t know that this one mother could have done more. I think what we can do is research her bill and try to introduce bills like it around the country.
Makes my blood boil. The sheer ineptitude by the police Dept and the courts keep failing children.
I’m so sorry for this mother and her husband. How disturbing! 😥
I'm so sorry you're in pain. Some losses are inconsolable. May God give you peace.
Absolutely heartbreaking.
My condolences to you and your family. And thank you for fighting for other people's children.
So awful. That poor mother.
What an awful man, hurting your own child to take away from his own mom.
Oh my gosh how tragic is this. So very sorry for your loss. The system so failed the little boy and his family. 😔 RIP little man 🙏🏻
The police here dont help with abusers who have mental illness- I know they refuse to protect me too from mine. :(
@@ChristineRay-pj8ok same here. My daughter was found in different states twice, but when their police checked they said that NO MiSSING PERSON REPORT had been filed (she had been gone five days when they found her) even though the person who I talked to in Michigan said that they put her on the national missing person registry. This happened not once, but twice. Two different states told me the same thing; that when they looked she wasn't on it. So when I called the GRPD people back and asked if it "costs money or something to get someone put on the registry?" they told me no, and that they had put her on it.
It’s true
its law enforcement to deal with abuse, well mainly cps but mental illness isnt their job
The sad reality is, police actually do not have a duty to protect citizens.
And this is part of the reason citizens have hatred and disdain for leo
I'm so sorry for your loss. No mother deserves this kind of pain and heartbreak. Much love.
Absolutely heartwrenching. All you can do is pray. Deepest condolences
I’m so so sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking!! God Bless you with some type of peace 🙏
Nice idea except narcissist parents will badmouth the other parent and make them look "crazy". This happened to me. Evaluators don't have enough time to fully understand the situation. Narcissist parents know how to manipulate others to make themselves look good.
Amen sister!
@jekalambert9412 This is the horrible truth.
Yep
America has become a narcissistic country
I feel bad for the little boy
But this woman probably has a lifetime of making bad choices
And having children with a mental defect was one of them
@@allesasmart
Sister?
I imagine I'm quite older than you and I've seen a shift in the culture in America
It's men who want to talk things out and have relationships and women have become the players and the haters
Not to say that men aren't still doing it but this country is doomed
If you don't think so just imagine people are voting for someone who's been convicted of sexual assault fraud it has various other charges against him
America looks in the mirror and sees nothing now
she's lost her soul
The mother needs to take some responsibility as well, but typically she's trying to get a bag. Run up a check, she's trying to get paid. lol
I’m so sorry. Thank you for sharing your story and for taking action for future babies ❤❤❤
Heart breakingly tragic.. innocent little boy ..this is happening way too much💔 deepest condolences to the mother stepfather extended family and friends💙
I hate the court system. Attorneys and judges are overpaid. Where is the onus here? An innocent six year old is dead.
Hey Judge this will follow you forever. I certainly hope it does.
This is so horrifying…..he was an absolute beautiful child ….. an angel🕊️someone needs to start paying attention…..this could have been stopped ❣️blessings of peace to his loving Mom & family🤍
That is so dreadful. I am so sad for that Mother and wish her success in her plan to change the law.
Why wasnt there supervised visits with the father?
We are all heartbroken, crushed, and traumatized by the evil decisions these monstrous judges make. We all suffer the loss of this child. who had every right to be protected and to live a full long life.
I am so very very sorry for your loss 😢🥺🥺🥺 Somone needs to be held accountable for this!!!😠
I think Children's Protective Services did the same thing with Treadmill Dad.
Tru
My sincere condolences, love, and prayers to this family and others who have been through such a horrific experience. 🙏❤️
This woman is in pain I pray she gets help thank God she has a supportive husband. RIP little baby.
This is just heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking. I feel so sorry and sad for this Mom. 😔😔😔❤️
Hugs from one mama to another. My heart breaks for you and your baby.
Not all biological parents deserve to be parents. The laws suck when it comes to these types of situations. You hear these horror stories all the time but nothing ever changes. It makes me sick. The anguish a parent goes through when they lose their child is unfathomable when everyone knows it could have been prevented if the laws were designed specifically to protect the children and not a BAD parents rights. What about the child's rights? Oh yeah. They obviously have none. What a disgraceful justice system we have in this country.
Children should NEVER be the victims of violence or death caused by the other parent. I am crying with you.
God…my heart is breaking…
My little nephews were once Rowan’s age. I can’t imagine losing them at any age but the idea of them so young on the cusp of life and it being snuffed out…?
That is so horrible.
Man that hurts. My heart just breaks for her
My condolences. Prayers for mom family and friends 🙏
This poor woman's anguish is palpable!
Is it any wonder everybody hates lawyers (including judges)? They're never held accountable for their eff ups.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet baby….The love for your son is so visible in your devastating story. May God watch over you and give you strength.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The emotional pain of this mother and stepfather is palpable. It seems that Rowan’s father was unstable from the beginning which means everything was wrong . The child’s life hung in the balance. And the mother couldn’t save her child. Heartbreaking . Poor little innocent boy.
Oh poor sweet Baby! I'm so sorry for the pain and loss that this family is experiencing!
Terrible. My heart goes out to that poor mother.
In spirit of "fairness" to dead beat, terrible, and dangerous parents, the family court system grants parenting time to people that she be no where near the children. They prioritize that "fairness" over the well being of children...
I am 1000% behind this mom, too many children are lost because the system is neglecting those families rights, it's high time it improved and updated it's skills at saving lives!
I am heartbroken but emboldened by her strength and her determination to save other families, she is a beacon of hope and faith, my condolences to you and your family, my best wishes and praise to your efforts, 😇
Poor mama. I'm so sorry. My heart breaks for this woman. I hope the sheriff goes to bed every night knowing what kind of "system" he's touting. Dammit man.
My heart hurts for you. How terrible and awful. The justice system is so broken. So amazing that you will try to help others dealing with this so possibly keeping it from happening to others. Bless you.
Will add this family to my prayers. This is so sad. Another family the system let down. That poor child.
I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious baby❣️💔
Absolutely awful! I hate this country! THE LAWS HAVE TO CHANGE NOW!! This poor mother. Law Enforcement and that judge should be prosecuted !
What a tragic event, condolences to the Family. Such a cowardice way to end yours and your son's life. Jus a P.O.S
I’m so sorry!!
I really get the awful feeling that they don't care about children. They keep letting these kids get hurt.
When the rights of the abusers supersede those of the victims, this is the result. Shame on the law enforcement who turned them away! Shame on the judge who refused the order! Shame on the politicians who fail to create a safe society for the people who elected them! Shame in everyone who saw, and heard, and knew, and did nothing!
This is messed up ..judge should go to prison
So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.
I have a friend right now going through a divorce. He is fighting for his adopted son which is his biological grandson that they adopted together. The court gave her physical custody immediately. He has an attorney because she is not mentally ok. She attempted suicide 5 years ago twice. Yet his attorney said the past can’t be brought up in family court. Attempted suicide to the point your stomach is pumped because you took 20 sleeping pills and they aren’t sure how many the second time. The laws need to change
He should get his son He is the actual biological grandchil he adopted
Wishing the best for your friend.
Ha should have told that judge everything is in the past. His lunch he ate at noon was in the past, and yes the past should and does need to be mentioned becasue it is very relevant.
Someone attempting suicide says nothing about how they will treat a child. Says alot about how they treat themselves, but not a child.
I hope there's more to your story because 2 attempted suicides 5 years ago say nothing about the person's ability to look after a child.
Someone's past struggle shouldn't be hold against them, unless the person is still struggling now and can't properly raise a child because of it.
Im so sry. My deepest condolences. 😢❤ Prayers for the family.🙏❤️🙏
For a missing child that is too long of a wait anything can happen ANYTHING ‼️😢 SHAME ON THAT JUDGE 🤬
@@deborahbaker4770 when the child is with one of the parents, I imagine the police do not see it as an emergency. If he were off on his own, or kidnapped by a stranger, yeah... It sucks, but that is how it goes.
I can’t think of anything more devastating to a mom. As one mom to another I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful boy.
My nephew is 6, and my sister is trying her to get full custody of him because her ex is an addict and just not in his life at all. The court failed this poor baby and his mother.
My heart aches for her.. this is so sad. Rip Lilman
I am so very sorry.
may her son not have died in vain & may this woman's Voice carry the Voice Of God to the ends of the earth & May God Grant us the changes her sorrowful heart has learned all to well for us to have. RIP
This mother is completely correct! Children become pawns, paydays or weapons against the other parent when a parent is controlling or upset about the divorce.
The system is not fair. This is not fair. So many kids have lost their lives like this. It happened two times in my community just last year. Ugh! What more needs to be done to save these babies? They deserve so much better than this. The lack of care from those in power speaks volumes
A 6 year old died and the system failed him. RIP child
Deaf and dumb public servants who thought they knew more than this loving mother did ! 🤬
They do it every day against dad's.
Irresponsible mother.
