We are stopped by some street food vendors who serve us food and refuse to take any money in return.

Most Filipinos are helpful, generous and friendly in general, also another reason is because of how often many tourists/vloggers or expats have often been generous and sometimes a wee bit overly too.

Mostly filipinos dont know about peoples diet, mostly people knows about diet are the one ofw or overseas experienced with other culture thats why the kanto boys offer the food for advertisement purposes

Generosity spills all around the Philippines. For sure you will get a lot of invites from a lot of Filipinos because hospitality spills all over. It just comes naturally.

Not anymore, US is not that safe country anymore. See the news lately, what's happening in the US? Filipinos hospitality and being friendly people are a test to what these boys did at the food stand. So proud of these boys, they are so well mannered and really so kind. 😊

Most of those cables are old telephone cable lines that are no longer used, but nobody is responsible enough to remove those cables. In our area some community electricians remove them and it was a lot of cables

actually, it's a typical southern Chinese food, canton is a region/province of China where Guangzhou and Shenzhen are located.
Yeah I've noticed this as well when some foreign travellers go to South East Asian countries and try foods/food chains that originated from China and thinking its from the South East Asian countries that their visiting... Some people even think MiXue ice cream is from Indonesia or some other South East Asian country...lol

just show gratitude when someone offered you free foods, in some cases it's an insult for us insisting to pay something that we genuinely offered absolutely free. a heartfelt THANK YOU is enough for us ❤

In Scotland its unusual to get free things hence them offering to pay but also it was huge appreciation for the kindness but not want to put them locals out - very very kind hrarted couple and very very kind gesture of locals
