yes Chorizo is one of the known food in PH... a lot of us eat it so much that it's actually commonly served in almost if not all the "karenderias" (food stalls) around every area.

Mam the food you ate called Chorizo actually we called it Longganisa.when it is raw it's. Look like your ordinary sausages but when it cooks and fry the BBQ sauce that you say is a normal sauce that normally comes out when it's done cooking that turns into a caramelized juicy from its own coz they have some sugar that's why you taste some sweetness flavor on it .that is one of my favorite food to eat especially on breakfast.you can eat it in the morning with scrambled eggs plus garlic rice and I promised you that you may have a very delicious combo meals early in the morning !🎉🎇😋

This is actually Talisay City which is a boundary of Cebu City to the south of mainland Cebu. No. Their local dialect, Tagalog and English mostly.
Philippines are colonized by spaniards for 300+ years. Tagalog has lot of similarities to spanish words. If you hear two filipino speaking you hear a lot of spanish words.
