Thanks Andrew. I found the lesson do v make quite interesting. I had though a tip missing that I found quite interesting when I learnt it. It relates to the consideration of the result of the action, like for instance in "do a sum" and "make a sum" I learnt (correct me if I am wrong) that I should use make when I am interested in the result of the action, the sum. So if I ask "can you make a sum?" what I am really meaning is whether the listener can do me a favour and make a specific sum for me, giving me the result. Whereas if I ask "can you do a sum?" what I really mean is whether he knows how to make a sum, unspecific. Now that I am writing, I think that this rule could also fit into the specific and non-specific actions. Anyhow, it might be worth setting as a rule. Thanks for your teaching.
