Thanks Andrew. I found the lesson do v make quite interesting.
I had though a tip missing that I found quite interesting when I learnt it.
It relates to the consideration of the result of the action, like for instance in "do a sum" and "make a sum"
I learnt (correct me if I am wrong) that I should use make when I am interested in the result of the action, the sum. So if I ask "can you make a sum?" what I am really meaning is whether the listener can do me a favour and make a specific sum for me, giving me the result.
Whereas if I ask "can you do a sum?" what I really mean is whether he knows how to make a sum, unspecific.
Now that I am writing, I think that this rule could also fit into the specific and non-specific actions. Anyhow, it might be worth setting as a rule.
    Thanks for your teaching.

+khadiza begum make = present simple
      made = past simple
Don't write "u" - it is very bad English.

Fantastic.Thank you, Andrew. which one is correct, please:
    a teacher does a lesson.
or a teacher makes a lesson.

+nas nas Thanks for your question.
Both are correct but they mean different things:
a teacher makes a lesson. (preparing a lesson in advance)
a teacher does a lesson. (presenting a lesson, teaching the lesson to the students.)

    Hi! I've a question.
    In the Excercise - Question 3. "Do/Make a list ...."
    Why I can't use "do"?
In this case.. "a list" is not an especific action?
I'm so sorry if my english isn't good enough... I'm a learner and I'm trying to improve my vocabulary .. :D
    Thanks!

Again very useful lesson about these common words do and make.. Sir You imply that we have lo learn the do and make -expression by heart because of the fact they do not follow the rules that you indicate previosuly th lesson lesson Right?

Jose antonio coria castrejon Yes, that's right, I advise you to learn those expressions by heart because they don't really follow the rules that I mention at the start of the lesson. - Andrew
